Short, amusing, forgettable
It took me three hours to play through this game (I opted for the 'consult a game guide' rather than 'bang head against wall' option), and I'd almost say this is one of the game's strengths: rather than an endless slog though ever-repeating puzzles the game explores the whole space of point-and-click _and then stops_. This gives you an amusing story with marvellous graphics and varied challenges that holds no tedium. All in all, it's an interesting taster of the story of Marco Polo, and a good way to spend an afternoon if you like this type of game.
A very enjoyable game. The graphic style provides an inviting backdrop to some solid point and click gaming. The puzzles, though not overly taxing are still challenging enough while the time-travel mechanic adds extra depth to the gameplay. The storyline keeps you hooked and will stay in the mind long after you've seen the end credits roll.
I don't usually play these kind of games, but got to say that this was surprising good adventure game. Very good plot and lot of things to do, and also this not easy game that you really have to think ahead about these puzzles. I think this game is timeless, that you could play this game even after 20 years.
This game was very tedious. The story and characters were weak and predictable. The game was basically completing tasks that had nothing to do with the story. The trap the mice puzzle had to be done 4 different times, which became boring after the 2nd time. Some of the puzzles were not explained very well and there wasn't a way to repeat the directions. So after the first time you opened the puzzle, you had no directions. If you had to leave the game and came back to a puzzle, you're out of luck. The driving the car on the map was extremely funny, kept on crashing, but it became annoying after awhile. It was just a tedious way to get from one place to another. I thought using the GPS, which appears on the bottom of the screen, would help, but it didn't. All in all, it's an OK game.
Common sense is a major expansion for Crusader Kings II. It adds a better province management, new religious gameplay and other stuff. Maybe people already tired of paradox DLCs but it's still good.
Yes, Rising World is an early access game, but why not to try this open-world sandbox game. You can compare it maybe with a more known bigger game :-) and some people say it's even better and more realistic. Find out on your own!
