Stellaris
 –

Very detailed game

Paradox never disappoints when it comes to strategy games and this doesn't as well. You discover new life and civilizations, and researching technology is done uniquely. Just the perfect game to sit down and play when you have the time because there is a lot to uncover.

Cities: Skylines - Campus
 –

Not industries, but spices up things

As the title suggests, this DLC is no Industries but has a similar approach. You zone areas for universities and you build them up. Then you level it up and unlock new buildings. The formula is the same, but the effects are not. The cool thing here is that you have Museums and then the academic works your university produces get shown there. Overall, it makes your city look livelier and there are also university sports and events.

Cities: Skylines - Green Cities
 –

Must have

I got this DLC, just because when you combine it with mods, you have the perfect green city. You cut down on pollution and if you're an eco-buff like me, you'd certainly enjoy this one.

METAL GEAR SOLID V: The Definitive Experience
 –

Holds well

Compared to the previous titles, this one holds and compares well. The most important thing for me was that they didn't drag out like some of the major studios like to do. Stealth is a significant part of this game and it does it better than before. There are some missing parts of the story that they could've covered, but they did a pretty well job for what it is.

Very stylish

Game looks cool with the white black artstyle, it's just combat feels a bit wonky at times, but it can be fun.

TimeLock VR
 –

VR puzzle game

This is a escape room game where you are able to freeze and rewind time. The player moves between parallel worlds solving simplistic puzzles. There's ability to freeze and rewind time but unfortunately these don't have much use. Combat with bow and arrow works fine as well.

The game is short, around half an hour, but it's alright experience at least for the price.

Exodus from the Earth
 –

Mediocre

Half-Life style shooter with health pickups, lots of guns and physics puzzles. Shooting works well enough but lacks feeling. Unfortunately this game lacks the variety, AI quality and good story of Half-Life 2, and ends up feeling incredibly repetitive. It's not really a bad game but it doesn't do anything particularly well either.

Serious Sam 4
 –

Serious Sam 4 doesn't deviate from the other entries in the series

Serious Sam 4 doesn't deviate from the other entries in the series, and that's perfectly okay. In fact, the fourth instalment is a return to form for fans of the franchise, that looks and handles perfectly, with more than enough new mechanics and contents to keep the formula interesting and fresh.

Shadow Warrior 3
 –

I wanted coop

I wanted coop game like SW2, but this one is like SW1 but very short. It feels rushed, but for shadow warrior fans it's still a neat game.

Europa Universalis IV: Dharma Collection
 –

Good for Indian gameplay

If you play India or the other countries out east this is a good collection, esp. since you save a few bucks compared to buying them separately.

A great addition to the game!

This DLC is definiitely needed if you want to expand on your monarchs and nation leaders. I'm also interested in trying out the Revolutionary Republics, playing as the Ottomans!

Solid DLC

Not the best DLC you'll encounter. But it does liven up the steppes.

Total War™: WARHAMMER® III
 –

One of the best till date!

If you have the money for all 3 games, yeah but if you don't, no. Simple as that, didn't have to give you 6 paragraphs about my life to farm steam points.

edit: ok so apparently i caused the third world war in the comment section so i had to completely erase that from the universe to avoid certain death..

Sonic Frontiers – Digital Deluxe
 –

Best Sonic Game in Years

I was hoping this game would be good and it surpassed my expectations by a longshot. This is a massive game with 5 huge open world islands, 4 of which have tons of content, and 1 of which is just there for some great platforming and story. There are 30 levels mixed of side scrolling and 3D platforming, the aforementioned open worlds, tons of mini games like shoot 'em ups, fishing, pinball, and over 100 puzzles. There are some really good mini bosses throughout, as well as regular enemies. The boss fights are spectacular. The story is very good. The soundtrack is excellent. The entire game is very different from the usual Sonic games, in a good way. There isn't any post game content other than what you didn't do on your first playthrough. It takes 12-15 hours to get through the story and over 25 to do everything.

For the negatives, this game has tons of pop in where most objects don't load until you get within a certain distance of them, but nothing is game breaking or too annoying. It's just unfortunately too noticeable and distracting at times. My other complaint is that you can only play as Sonic this time around and none of his friends.

Lastly, the deluxe is only worth it if you want the artbook and soundtrack. There's a pair of brown gloves and brown laced boots which is exclusive to the Deluxe, but the rest is all grindable in game, and the grind is not bad at all. You will have far more of everything than you need as you need it to progress as long as you do some side stuff and exploration here and there and not just rush through.

I would definitely recommend this game. It is easily the best Sonic game in years and one of my top favorites in the franchise.

Europa Universalis IV

Very good strategy game!

I spent countless hours playing this game, since there are so many countries you can play as and it is fun aiming for certain achievements. There is a lot to learn as there is a lot of mechanics you need to know in order to efficiently govern your nation.

Victoria 3 Grand Edition
 –

After a dozen hours of play

If you're a fan of paradox games it will be familiar to you. They need an exterminator for all the day 1 bugs and exploits. And good luck getting to 1936 between the late game crashes and slow downs.

It's got some good ideas, they're just executed poorly. The front line system sounds good, but stay away from India or Germany where it just breaks. The naval invasion system is badly explained, and somehow even worse than the HOI4 system. You need more ships than troops, and even then you might blink and miss your chance to see it failed because of the 100 troops garrisoning the enemies port.

The interest groups and radical system sounds nice. Until you realize you can just game loyalists by agreeing to everything that comes your way. Doesn't matter if you back out, but be careful because if you game it too hard you'll get an integer overflow and they'll despise you.

All the countries look nice, some even have enough flavor to last 20 years or so. After that though... There's a real late game problem of which flavor of vanilla do you want your country. Cause they're all pretty much the same after the first 50 years or so. Only thing that changes is how much you have to work to get to number one gdp.

So it's an okay game for now. Here's hoping paradox fixes it to actually be good.
