Great puzzle platformer that is not so far from being perfect!
I have really enjoyed the game as a whole - great level design, well working physics, precise and easy to learn control, fairy tale like graphics and sense of humor. It is one of the games that you can play with your kids especially when you have two controllers. The only significant minus that I have found so far is the necessity of having controller or even two controllers if you want to play co-op game. In all other aspects the game excels plus it is bringing some fresh air to platformers with original idea of transporting the chariot.
Pros: - level design - working physics - responsive control - nice graphics - sense of humor - suitable for children - local multi-player
Cons: - necessity of having game controller - the environment could be a little bit "livelier"
I am giving this physics based platformer 4 stars out 5 which means Highly Recommended!

The review title says it all! One thing I want to note for those who wants a true dark souls challenge of the game is to play without the "AI partner". This makes the game too easy, but if you are here just for the story then by all means play with AI partner to make life easier.
This puzzle game is simple to pick up and play. It rewards creativity, persistence, and in most puzzles, teamwork can either elevate gameplay or make the journey through each level way longer than necessary. Either way, the game will be enjoyable. Lots of puzzles in this game have more than one way of getting to the end, so there are plenty of opportunities to think outside the box. A great game to pick up - especially if it's on sale.
Pros: •Dynamic gameplay that caters to a variety of playstyles •Amazing soundtrack •One of the most comprehensive and versatile character creation systems in any game •Flashy abilities •Interesting level designs
Neutral (You may or may not like it): •For the most part, bosses are solid •The anime aesthetic is visually appealing, but obviously that's a matter of opinion •The story is decent and easy to follow •Having an AI partner is an interesting take on the Souls-like formula, but it might make the game a bit too easy. They can tank, revive the player, or even outright solo some encounters. You can choose to not have a partner if you want, so this isn't much of an issue.
Cons: •Like other Dark Souls-esque games, the multiplayer in this game is just an afterthought. Both players can't progress the story simultaneously, so if you want to play with a friend, you will essentially be playing the game twice. If the host player dies, the guest player is disconnected; if the guest player dies, they will have to reconnect. If the host wants to access a Mistle (the "Bonfire" of this game), the guest has to leave and then reconnect. This slows down the flow of the game pretty significantly, so if you want to only play this game with a friend, I would make sure both players are okay with this system.
This is the single-most important DLC to add to the game. Industrial district specializations were a step in the right direction, but Industries actually makes resource management and logistics into a real gameplay mechanic beyond just placing roads and zoning.
Moreover, the processor buildings, warehouses and unique factories look 100x better than basic industrial zones.
This DLC is mostly a visual pack. It does not include any new game mechanics but provides the visual counterpart to the regular Horse Lords dlc. I enjoyed the portraits most and don't regret the purchase.
As it says above, this kind of DLC is very situational. If you don't enjoy robots or a robot empire, then it's practically useless. However, if you want to play as either the Borg from Star Trek or the Geth from Mass Effect, then your money would be extremely well spent purchasing this DLC!
Do I need say more? For any pulp sci-fi fan, a giant interdimensional creature or robot is always a major plus. They are so much fun to learn about, fight, and also use strategically! Highly recommend!
Paradox may shine its brightest in this 4X space-faring game. Stellaris allows a player great diversity in creating unique alien species / societies and then playing out their story in a complex galaxy sized arena. The strategy involved in the game can be very in-depth and allows plenty of hours of game time. I highly recommend!
This is an amazing expansion for the base game! Having a mercenary-for-hire changes the early gameplay and let's you focus on a more economic-styled strategy; also, having the Khan mid-game event can change the entire landscape of a game!
This DLC offers a new species with new game mechanics! you now can play as Mineral Entities that will eat minerals instead of produce. THe ships look amazing!
I got it on a deep sale and it's entertaining enough. It tends to crash though so keep that in mind if interested. I would probably be more annoyed if I payed full price or even half price but I knew the game was "rough" when I got it.
