  1. Major expansion, a bit overpriced

This is a major expansion for Stellaris; it adds new mechanics, not just cosmetics. The main feature are the Megastructures, some other features are part of the base game now. These Megastructures allow for some new options for your empire, improving the gameplay experience. It feels a bit overpriced for what it offers, since some of these features should arguably be part of the base game since the start.

  2. Megastructures! What else?

More gameplay mechanics and new construction to build. Must have if you like Stellaris

  3. Worthwhile expansion

Megastructures and habitats offer a special and unique experience which largely differs from the usual planet-based resource production and development. The new ascension perks allow players to explore some of the most popular concepts in sci-fi: bioengineering and cybernetic augmentation, as well as psychic evolution. Indoctrination mechanics makes interacting with primitive civilizations more fun, and upgrades to slavery and government open up more opportunities for specialized empires with immersive features. In conclusion, essential if you want a more atmospheric galaxy.
