At the center of the destruction lies a hidden society of Revenants called Vein. This final stronghold is where the remaining few fight to survive, blessed with Gifts of power in exchange for their memories and a thirst for blood.

Give into the bloodlust fully and risk becoming one of the Lost, fiendish ghouls devoid of any remaining humanity. Wandering aimlessly in search of blood, the Lost will stop at nothing to satisfy their hunger. Team up and embark on a journey to the ends of hell to unlock your past and escape your living nightmare in CODE VEIN.

    Anime Souls*****

Must buy for fans of both souls games and anime. Story's a bit weird but nothing out of the ordinary for an anime lol. The best part of the game is definitely the feel that different blood veils (the armors) give to your special attacks (parries/backstabs/combos) from a spiked tail that pierces your enemy to a pair of hound's heads that reach out from you to attack. The game could definitely be improved by giving the player more freedom with builds when leveling but that comes as a side effect of making it easy to switch between a boat load of prebuilt classes that you unlock as you play through the game.
