I used to be a huge fan of Piranha Bytes and loved the Gothic series (even the bug ridden Gothic 3). However Elex is a total disaster and the reason for this is the combat system which is a huge mess and totally unacceptable for a game that came out in 2017. I knew that Piranha Bytes games had poor combat but the combat here is worse than anything i've ever seen. Except the combat the voice acting is just atrocious and completely immersion breaking as your character speaks with the charisma of a tree log. The other characters are hardly better - i understand that voice acting wasn't a priority but even amateur actors would have done better than this. As for the game world it is indeed huge but not terribly beautiful or interesting. Piranha Bytes have been floundering after Gothic 3 but ELEX is the last straw for me and the last time i am giving them my hard earned money.
Destruction Derby is back, DD was one of my favorites and really miss it, Wreckfest does great things but I still think DD has an edge over wreckfest, but still a great game!
Look it's easy there aren't a lot of great golf games around and The Golf club is still the best but the last years I think they getting a bit lazy, the differences feel like a patch instead of a new version, a bit like the Fifa series. I would suggest getting this on a discount as it feels way too much as the previous version. I think the Links series from the 90's was still the best one we ever had.
This dlc is very good, but it should be free and come with the base game. Cities:Skylines was supposed to be a replacement to EA's SimCity, but if they charge money for this they are just as bad as EA...
A real successor to the old Thief games, with amazing maps, thought out characters and compelling plot. Guaranteed many hours of enjoyment for the fans of the genre.
