Stellaris
 –

Per ardua ad astra / Through adversity to the stars

Stellaris is a fabulous grand strategy 4x space empire building game. You get to explore stellar systems, colonize (or conquer) planets and develop resources and industries, build fleets and bases to defend your frontiers. Trade, treaties, scientific research, relics and artifacts of old civilizations are also part of the game. Great replayability as no game willbe the same with so many options and paths possible.

Stellaris: Humanoids Species Pack
 –

More human types available

Humanoids are a popular choice of Stellaris players. This pack brings many more human-like species, including cyclopes, orcish, demonic and dwarves types. Humanoids also get their own unique ship class. Not a game-changing expansion, just a few more choice if you want to play human-like species.

Stellaris: Federations
 –

Unity is strength

This fourth expansion is all about forming Federations. Create ties with other empires to mutual benefit, increasing your diplomatic weight in the galactic community. New features include diplomatic stances/actions, envoys, new administrative capacities. That adds a cooperative option that differs from solely conquering objectives.

Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire - Obsidian Edition
 –

Another solid title

Obsidian have done a great job as always with their D&D series.

Would definetely recommend picking up both Pillars of Eternity 1 & 2, which will last you many hours. The Obsidian edition is not a must, but with the small difference in price, it would be worth picking it up now rather than later.

Stellaris: Ancient Relics Story Pack
 –

More to do

Good DLC on a discount (50%). Would not pick up at RRP, as most of the Paradox DLCs are overpriced.

Great little addition to the Stellaris DLC collection.

Stellaris: Utopia
 –

Very good first expansion to Stellaris

This first expansion to Stellaris brings many new features enhancing the gameplay. Huge space stations (habitats) and megastructures are visible signs of your civilisation progress. Three differents evolution paths are now available, mastering of biology, developpement of synthetic sentient beings, or mental psyonic powers. Also present are : new interactions between factions, native indoctrination, unity and traditions, etc.

Total War™: WARHAMMER® II - The Shadow & The Blade
 –

Elves vs Skaven

If you intend on playing either Skaven or Dark elves the Shadow and the Blade is something for you. I think the Skaven roster is more intresting, but decide for yourself. Still two great new leaders and starting positions to explore.

Warhammer at its finest.
