Classic style 80s tv show point and click adventure
by Ishee, Germany - Apr 27th 2017

A wonderful game with brilliant adult humour, a novel execution, and a difficulty level that's not too challenging because the game focuses on the fun and storytelling rather than the challenge. It's one of those games where instead of striving to achieve goals, it feels more like the game is leading you on a merry tour of ribald hilarity, dirty dealings and shenanigans.

KISS still works with games
by JRespaldiza, USA - Apr 26th 2017

Great music, a simple concept that can easily be grasped by anyone who has played games before, and great depth without too much complexity. This is the kind of game that you can play sitting and relaxing while listening to the soothing soundtrack or concentrating and trying to beat a previous high score. A gem.

Very enjoyable game with tonnes of variance. There is so much going on that I am confident I will get a tonne of replay value out of it.

Crusader Kings II: The Reaper's Due Icon
Life and Death go hand in hand
by JRespaldiza, USA - Apr 26th 2017

This DLC for Crusader Kings adds the Hospital buildings for holdings, as well as the Prosperity mechanic and a greater nuance to the epidemics that would periodically show up before. Now whether your domain is ravaged by disease is decided not just by chance, but by the prosperity of your domain and the number and quality of hospitals you have.

You could use your prosperity to build Hospitals and encourage future growth while guarding against disease. Or you could use that money to fund an army and take the chance that the Black Death won't spring up in their wake. If your land is hit with an epidemic you can try to counter it or seclude yourself with your court. Just remember, no matter your choices, the Reaper comes for us all.

Inherit the Legacy of Ghengis Khan
by JRespaldiza, USA - Apr 26th 2017

This DLC for CK2 introduces the Horde mechanics and a different spin on CK2's original medieval government. Managing your vassals is more important than ever as you balance keeping them happy with not allowing them to grow too strong. The additional parts of the map that are added give you a base to potentially create a horde that rivals the great Mongol Hordes of the time. Will you be able to conquer all the known world?

Awesome Game!
by SteveS, USA - Apr 26th 2017

This game is great, typical Paradox mastery of the grand strategy genre. It's a lot like a 4x but then it's also a lot like a grand strategy, and it's Paradox's most approachable title yet.

Plenty to do in just the base game, with lots of mods available. The space combat is basically click the enemy fleet and the game takes over from there but there is a little more to it than that and the ship customization is excellent.

Can't recommend this game enough!

STASIS Icon
A compelling, smart and legitimately scary experience
by Ishee, Germany - Apr 26th 2017

STASIS is a science fiction horror themed isometric point and click adventure game which takes place aboard the Groomlake, a deep space research vessel that belongs to Cayne Corporation. The game has a very gloomy and dark atmosphere to it and it seems to be inspired by various popular sci-fi horror games and movies such as Alien and Dead Space.

The main gameplay element of STASIS, as with any other point and click adventure type of games, is of course, puzzle solving. I can't remember exactly how many puzzles are in the game but most of them are solvable by finding out certain items and combining them or using them on some background object or something on the environment around you in some way and surprisingly enough, even though I got stuck on some of these sections, afterwards I felt like it all made sense in a way and it wasn't just some way to stall the player progress. Besides this, you'll also come across some some other puzzles that involve some actual investigation and sometimes I even had to take notes so I couldn't forget certain things. That said, STASIS puzzles are not just there for the sake of solving puzzles, they fit in the world and the story and they have a purpose.

Overall STASIS is a great point and click adventure game, it's very atmospheric, immersive and the puzzles are challenging. It offers around 10 hours worth of gameplay along with an amazing sountrack by Mark Morgan and by the end of it you might be facing some moral dilemmas.

One...More...Turn...
by JRespaldiza, USA - Apr 26th 2017

I started the Civilization franchise with Civ IV, but this game is the one I hae sunk the most hours into, so much so that I bought a copy for my wife so that we could play together if I'm on the road. It's an amazing game that still can hook you and turn a "Just an hour or so" playtime into "Why is it getting light outside?"
