Hearts of Iron IV
 –

A renewal of the formula

Though I miss the hexes from the previous games, HOI IV offer new features more focused on the strategic level. The planification of the production of material and supplies is as capital to the war effort than the fighting on the fronts.

Curse of the Dead Gods
 –

We've reached the hardest bosses, and the review

Good points
High level of perfection
Very few bugs, and the game is well balanced (but strict).
The graphics are good enough to represent the world.

What I'd like to see improved
Long-range weapons aren't breathing.
Even a pistol consumes 1 stamina to fire one shot, and that's a sparrow's nest of damage!
A bow? There's no room for you because I'd like to take a hammer to the wall.
You've narrowed your recovery options down too much.
The only way to recover other than with equipment is Haven right after the mid-boss.
Unless you're a god, you're going to get hit, so the higher the difficulty, the more your equipment becomes a recovery meta.

I'd recommend it because it's very complete for an EA, but
As mentioned above, equipment is fixed, so it's not possible to play with a different play style each time, which is familiar to Rogue Light.
In this state, it's surprisingly quick to get bored with Hades.

Hearts of Iron IV
 –

For me, it's good

As a history buff and a fan of emergent narratives, I am capable of enjoying Hearts of Iron IV despite its flaws. The player takes control of a nation in the late 1930's, with the goal of either staying or changing the course of World War II. It usually does an excellent job simulating the war, and has great replay value.

However, I cannot overstate how poorly the game simulates peace deals after large wars. The AI is unforgivably bad at making peace, to the point that a plausible peace deal can only be achieved by the player cheating (with mods or console commands; I have used both) to create one manually. This breaks my immersion, wastes my time, and almost ruins the game for me.

The game is still good overall. I like it. But I simply cannot give it a glowing recommendation.

Hearts of Iron IV: Death or Dishonor
 –

Minor powers are fun

Assuming you already like Hearts of Iron IV, I strongly recommend this DLC. The four nations expanded on here (Hungary, Czechoslovakia, Yugoslavia, and Romania) are in risky positions, but are therefore extremely rewarding to play. They provide real challenge in a way that the game's major powers don't. It is exhilarating to be engaged in an uphill battle for survival, both politically and militarily, and when at last costly victory has been achieved, it will feel truly earned.

Hearts of Iron IV: Waking the Tiger
 –

Good, but too broad

This DLC is a bit all over the place geographically: it adds content to China, Japan, and Germany. In my experience, all the added content is good. Unfortunately, it is all packaged together, so that in order to experience Germany's new content, you must also buy China's, even if you're not really interested in China's.

I think this DLC is still worth having, even if you're only interested in parts of it like me. Especially if you can buy it during a sale.

TEKKEN 7
 –

Goodgame

I bought this game because it was my first PC version of Tekken. I'm a lyricist who started when I was in Tekken 6 and the PC version has a great environment.
I hope the number of Tekken users will increase.
Please buy it, everyone. I think it's easy to get started, even if you're new to gaming, and I think you'll enjoy playing it.
