    Good Grand Strategy Title*****

A lot easier to understand than HoI3. Grand Strategy games are something you either really get into or hate I think. I had fun with this one, the amount of mods for it are quite incredible! (I highly recommend Equestria At War if you happen to have any interest in MLP, that mod has absolutely insane amounts of lore)

    Fun but flawed*****

A lot of its core systems are frankly just broken even after years and years since release. Subjects and allies will bunch up eating supply and attrition just completely freezing fronts, and you have no way to tell them to stop it. The frontsystem ai is absolutely terrible and fronts will split requiring you to micro them to the point that despite its massive combat bonuses it's still better to just not use it at all (Or pause constantly and set up new fronts making everything take ages).

Moreover DLC's have added more and more capability to design tanks, ships, planes etc. Completely superflous and just introduces a crazy amount of clicking for really no added fun.

Despite this and many, many more flaws, the game can still be fun, you just have to work around all the terribly designed systems and make your own fun. It also has some absolutely fantastic mods.
