Tell Tale is an awesome series

Tell Tale games made another fantastic game, based on the popular series, The Walking Dead. While not a fan of the show going into it, I loved the storyline and game play of this game. Had some slight issues running it on an older machine (2011 Mac Book Pro.) but a simple reinstall took care of those no problem. Fantastic game, nice art style and lots of fun with a group play through, or solo. Beware of the feels.

Best medieval simulator I've encountered

This game is amazing. Set in a medieval fantasy world, it does not hold true to history per say, but instead focuses on the inner workings of social interaction, economic interaction, and military interaction between nobility in a midieval setting. The game sets you into the world as a sword for hire. As you roam around the land, you slowly begin to hire soldiers to fight for you, make a name for yourself, make enemies and allies, and earn the right to rule castles towns and eventually, make a grab for a throne. It has fantastic gameplay, with a mix of Hack and Slash, RPG, Medieval Simulator and Real Time Strategy. I truly love the game's attention to detail in the political workings of a medieval country and the choices presented in the game flow. Fantastic game all around! I've had it for a while now and loved every minute of it.

Strong Complexity

Conclave is the next addition to the long standing CK2. It adds a lot of wonderful and what feels to be necessary complexity to an already complex game.

Better than your average flash game

This is one of those games that takes a fairly simple premise and expands it into a short but challenging puzzle game with a surprising amount of depth.

Gameplay is simple: connect dots of the same color to make them disappear, satisfy an objective unique to a given level to advance. What's impressive is how many different objectives 2DEngine.com came up with using a limited range of tools. Ranging from simple objectives such as get a high score to more complicated objectives such as keep a stream with multiple choke points flowing for 5 minutes.

The aesthetic is simple, colored dots and silhouette containers. That and the simplistic menu design are reminiscent of Flash games, but it doesn't have much impact on the game. Music's not bad, it seems to get louder when you get closer to failing an objective, but not much to write home about.

Overall, it's a decent game, there's a couple hours of quality gameplay, maybe a little more if you're into score attack.

The Wolf Among Us (Telltale Key)
 –

Decent game from Tell Tales

Pros:

- Good world building

Cons:

- Once you learn that nothing you do matter, it breaks the immersion.

Good Game for Slower Players

If you are an older, slower Star Trek fan, this game is a good one. It is a turn based game. Graphics are great. There are some choices to be made as you amass points in 5 categories. Good choice at the beginning is ENERGY and then METALS. Credits are good and sometimes hard to come by. My favorite WONDER is the Dual Command, which allows two actions per turn. Explore them all and learn your best ones. SCIENCE upgrades are both offensive and defensive. I go with offensive first and push the Torpedeo and Engine options. Some battles can take a bit of time to finish and if you are not strategically placed, you may lose Star Systems. Larger size games with fewere opponents are somewhat easier to play. Many ways to play and win and lose and learn.

This is a great game, it can become laggy, especially when loading worlds.

Sacra Terra: Kiss of Death Collector's Edition

Well done, but not scary

This is a dark game in hellish surroundings filled with dramatic love. The story is pretty original, a demon and the hero wants to save a loved one. I was hoping for a twist, but no. Despite that and despite the technical problem that forced me to close and reopen the game every 45 minutes, I liked it. It felt good helping tortured souls.

The artwork was nice and detailed with clear graphics. Good sound and mostly good voice overs, but they didn't succeed so well with the lip syncing.
The hidden objects are very easy interactive lists, some are revisited. The mini games are mostly not that hard. There is a directional hint and the jumpable map shows available tasks and the morphing objects. The bonus game takes place at the same time by a different character in both same and new locations. It was something new to me and I liked it.

I didn't experience this game as scary although it appears to be. There were no jump scares or such, only a dark environment with skulls etc and a demon lady who threatens you.
Anyway, demons, hell, red colour, tormented souls and love... If you like that, try the game.
