Cant play

I wanted so much to take advantage of this sale, however I had to return game because of unsupported graphic issue, Game calls for intel HD4000 card or higher. maybe time for a new Mac. Support was both swift and helpful! Thanks MacGameStore...

Torchlight II
 –

I get the hype :p

It's a pretty fun game. Tons of mods out. World seem huge so far, and with the mods that blows it out of proportion. My main issue with the game, which others may like to know, is that it's one of those point and click to move type of games.... I am sure if you've played the original Torchlight or like mobas, this wouldn't be an issue... But it can be tedious. Other than that the game is great.

Excellent 4X

Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
 –

Morbid extravaganza

I have this game for at least a year now and it is my go to stress relief. Hard day? Just chop some heads off. Now i picked it here for my friend in a great discount, so we can play together. Fun multiplies.

Features:
Solid first person hack and slash. There is currently no better game for first person fencing.
A lot of different weapons, that greatly affect your gameplay.
Game does not have matchmaking - only server list, but there is a lot of official and community servers, also with a lot of newbie servers. Only problem is when you met an Australian lagger on UK server.
Solid graphics with funny dismemberment mechanics.
Hedas rolling down the hill.
Warhammer multikills.
Pinning people to walls with ballistas.
Press "C" to shout.

Pixel Heroes - Byte & Magic
 –

Great time waster!

Beware, this game is pretty darn hard!

You hire three heroes to go on many quests to help the people in your town. Choose your heroes wisely, as this game (like I said) is hard and it won't let you off so easily!

Fun, quirky game that is best played every few hours, as a few hours in you start to get a bit bored, which isn't really a bad thing.

A game you'll love and go back to again, again and again! Worth the money!

Syberia II
 –

A very interesting story

I enjoyed the game. It played well and the character interactions kept the story moving along. The puzzles were mostly fun and some were definitely more challenging than others. A few of the puzzles or stages didn't seem to make much sense, and maybe because I didn't always play through in the expected way, a few of them were frustrating. I'd just have to guess or go trial and error to solve them. However, noticing small things probably would have helped me a bit more if I would have tried to pay closer attention. That happened a few times in Syberia, but more often in Syberia II. The game indicated it was saving at certain points, but when I exited and then returned, I'd have to go back a bit and redo things, not always, but it should have picked up right where I left off or allowed me to save manually to do that. I did like that the characters were individual enough to have their own stories. To make it better, it would have been a great option to have multiple games going at once instead of only one. MacGameStore says that my Mac does not meet the minimum requirements but it installed and played with zero problems. It said it needed OSX 10.8 and I run 10.7.5 on an old Mac Pro 1,1. In spite of some of the small issues, it is a good game if you are patient and like to be challenged. If you want easy puzzles and blast through 1-2-3 for a quick finish then this might not work well for you. I think it is definitely worth the price and recommend it.

Endless Space - Emperor Edition
 –

Great 4x game

A great 4x game to learn and get into if you're a fan of the genre.

Endless Legends is one, if not my favorite 4x game to date, despite some "technical/performace" short-commings. This game fits into the lore behind all of Amplitude Studio's games, so if you're a fan, you will like Endless Space right off the bat.

Now that Endless Space 2 is in the works, this game is found on the cheap... so pick it up!

Wasteland 2: Director's Cut
 –

Great classic rpg game

Its a really great classic style rpg. Its a throwback to games like the old baldurs gate and icewind dale games! (if you dont know what those games are, make sure you research before you buy, its likely different then you expected)

Tales from the Borderlands (Telltale Key)
 –

Another great game from telltale games

Its an adventure game, meaning most of the game revolves around talking to people and progressing the story. Its a very linear game in terms of gameplay.

Its pretty much the same as any of the other telltale games but set in the world of borderlands, with the borderlands humor and style.

I love being able to just sit back and relax with this game. It doesnt require a lot of action and you are watching cutscenes most of the game. Its basically like watching a movie, but you have some input on decisions you make.

*NOTE* this game uses telltale DRM not steam. (the drm is very light, almost like drm free games. can always just add it to steam library by adding non-steam game shortcut, but wont get steam achievements)

Euro Truck Simulator 2 - Scandinavia
 –

A DLC that's worth it...

Especially if on sale, this is well worth it. New places to drive to in Euro Truck 2 is always fun, and this Scandinavia DLC has some great detail and effort put into it.
