Craft The World
 –

Good for what it is.

This game is, primarily, a time waster. And I mean that in the best of ways.

The gameplay is very linear: gather this to make this so that you can make things further along on the crafting tree. You don't directly control your Dwarfs at any time; rather, you can assign them tasks and they do them... whenever they deign to. The A.I. will always prioritize whatever you clicked first. This means that if you want to switch tasks, you have to un-click *everything* you selected in between. Otherwise, your little Dwarfs will go about killing critters, collecting items for crafting, and building whatever you instruct them to. That's it. After all of the craft options are unlocked, you simply amass your empire. You can even avoid battle entirely if your randomly generated world has high enough obstructions between you and monster spawn points.

Pros:
Clean graphical style.
The ability to create and customize your own shelter.
Equipment changes are reflected on your Dwarf denizens.

Cons:
Linear game play without much replayability.
Craft tree could use more, exciting options.
Repetitive soundtrack.
The A.I is sometimes very silly.

Still, for the price (around 5USD) it's a good bit of fun. I haven't tried the multiplayer as of writing this.

Celestian Tales: Old North

Fun RPG

It's always refreshing to find a new RPG that isn't made in RPG Maker, so this game immediately hit my radar. The developers really put a good effort into this game and it shows. The only negative comment I can really make about this game is that it is incomplete. It is the first of three chapters in the game, each of which will also have a DLC expansion pack. While the first chapter is quite fun and worth playing through, for most, i would say to wait and see how development goes on the remainder of the game because as is, you are buying an incomplete game that won't be finished until probably sometime in 2017.

Kingdom: New Lands
 –

A little hard, but extremely rewarding!

For my first few tries, I made some mistakes and I had to start over, but all it all the game is excellent. Well balanced, satisfying, beautiful, chalenging, and when I lost it wasn't the fault of the game. My only request is that they add a feature where you can send archers and royal guards to certain locations. Other than that, the game is fantastic.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown – The Complete Edition
 –

XCOM: EU is a harsh mistress.

This beautiful siren will snare you in with songs of outflanking a dangerous enemy, only to bash you against the rocky face of a malevolent difficulty curve. The combination of tactics, broad research and equipment manufacture, soldier class and sub-class customization, and base management, all make for an engaging, complex, and most definitely challenging game. Highly recommended.

Enchanting

I've played several Daedalic games and so far haven't really been disappointed by any of them, this one included. This was a beautiful game and quite an enjoyable point and click adventure. It did get occasionally laggy when I played despite meeting the requirements but that might be due to my computer starting to get a little old so I can't say that was an issue with the game itself. Definitely would recommend the game

Have a little patience...

This game is different from anything else I have played. Great design, fun characters, good voiceovers from famous actors, different story and sometimes weird tasks to do.
It took a lot of time finishing the game, since it was a little hard to figure out. If you like a different adventure game and have some patience, this is a fun game.

Dungeon of the Endless - Pixel Pack
 –

One of my all-time favorite titles

The challenge is brutal, fair, addicting, and the multiplayer is a blast. It's simply one of the best PC titles out there today. Graphics are gorgeous, the gameplay engaging, addicting, and balanced, and it plays differently every time thanks to a well-guided procedural dungeon, and the many options for characters, equipment, strategies, and dungeon modifiers. I have this game and all its DLC, and it's worth every penny.

The Walking Dead

Spoiler Free Since '93

Lots of important choices to make here. You play as a former convict who has to protect a kid from zombies. Good game; good plot; would be better classified as a visual novel though.

Dark Strokes: Sins of the Fathers Collector's Edition
 –

A pretty relaxing game with handsome Ethan popping up now and then...

My reaction wasn't: "OMG, this game seems awesome!" when I read the description a few days ago. I recalled though that I tried the demo long time ago, but my only memory from it was this reaction: "OMG, that man is gorgeous!!" The game was on sale and I consulted a friend if it would be a bad idea to buy a game only because of a handsome guy. "Of course not, if it isn't a terrible game and you'll get a look at him once in a while." Usually the main characters aren't visible, but this gorgeous man was. A few times he even scared the hell out of me when he popped up.

I don't regret my purchase even though this feels like an average game, that doesn't offer anything remarkable (except for handsome Ethan). It was pleasant to play, I enjoyed it and I'm sure that I will play it again.

The graphics, sound and voice overs are good. In some HOS it is a bit fuzzy and there are only voice overs in the big cutscenes (no lip movements though), otherwise it's only text. The HOS are only standard lists and they are revisited. I found a few of them pretty hard in the wrong way. The mini games aren't especially hard, one made me mad though. I was supposed to switch domino tiles, but when I put one on the other they didn't switch, instead jumped back to its usual place. I don't know what I did wrong. Tried other ways too, but without success.

The pretty useless map shows your location, nothing else. I didn't miss the map, the locations were easy to find and I had no hard time remembering for example where I can use the knife I just found. The hint is directional and works well. This is a CE, but there are no achievements or collectables whatsoever, only a bonus game that took me 90 minutes to complete and some wallpapers etc and soundtracks.

The bonus game is a prequel without Ethan. It was fun too. Overall, this is a pretty long and easy adventure with many HOS. A lot of running back and forth, but with beautiful graphics, nice story and in my opinion a very handsome man.

I think every beginners and people who'd like a relaxing game should try it.

Homeworld Remastered Collection
 –

Fun

No issues with crashing as I read in another review. The game is a lot of fun and looks great for a 15 years old game (graphics have been remastered obviously). My only issue is that the story is told from the 3rd person perspective of the ships and you never see the characters. There is great voice acting to make up for it though. Other than that its a great story and gameplay.
