Un altro gioco Alawar ben fatto, anche se risale al novembre del 2013! La storia è intrigante, sono da apprezzare le musiche, i filmati e soprattutto le immagini (davvero molto curate). Classico gioco con scene di oggetti nascosti, con abbinamenti "intelligenti". Guardate bene le scene, perché ci dovrete tornare almeno un paio di volte. I mini-giochi sono abbastanza semplici, ma tutti da risolvere con piacere. Tre stelle perché la mappa non permette di spostarsi velocemente da una scena all'altra. Già, il tempo passa anche per i games...
[Another Alawar game well done, although it goes back to November 2013! The story is intriguing, I appreciate the music, the movies and especially the pictures (really very curated). Classic game with hidden object scenes, with "smart" combinations. Look at the scenes well, because you will have to come back at least a couple of times. Mini-games are fairly simple, but all they need to solve is with pleasure. Three stars because the map does not allow you to move quickly from one scene to another. Yeah, time goes by for games ...]
Alawar ci consegna un gioco molto ricco, con una storia ben sviluppata e fatto su misura per chi ama la ricerca di oggetti nascosti. In questo caso, si devono trovare tutte le parti che compongono un oggetto, quindi usarlo per procedere nell'avventura. C'è da dedicarci un bel po' di tempo (almeno, così è successo a me!) però il gioco vale... il fantasmagorico girovagare tra una scena e l'altra. Filmati, scene e musiche sono di ottima qualità, così come lo svolgersi complessivo del racconto. Il tasto "aiuto" si ricarica un po' troppo lentamente, ma nell'attesa ci si può divertire a trovare gli "oggetti mutevoli". Unica pecca: su iMac OS X il gioco lentamente rallenta, e bisogna uscire per poi riprendere da dove si era rimasti. Tre stelle. A voi la scelta...
[Alawar gives us a very rich game, with a well developed story and tailor made for those who love the search for hidden objects. In this case, you must find all the parts that make up an object, then use it to go on the adventure. We have to spend a lot of time (at least, so it happened to me!) But the game is worth ... the fantasmagoric wandering between one scene and the other. Movies, scenes and music are of the utmost quality, as well as the overall storyline. The "help" button reloads a bit too slowly, but while waiting you can have fun finding "changeable objects". One flaw: on iMac OS X the game slowly slows down, and you have to go out and then resume from where you were left. Three stars. To you the choice...]
Se la prima parte di questo gioco vi lascerà spiazzati (colpa anche dell'assenza di una mappa), quando troverete la strada per il mondo delle favole inizierete davvero a divertirvi, e molto. Le scene con oggetti nascosti sono ben fatte (guardatele bene, perché ci dovrete tornare almeno un paio di volte), mentre i mini-giochi oscillano tra il "facile facile" e il "tu prova a cliccare a caso, se sei fortunato bene, altrimenti... ciao ciao". Storia, musiche, scene e filmati sono decisamente di qualità, e compensano l'assenza della mappa (ma ci pensa l'orsacchiotto con il palloncino...). Tre stelle perché, come accade troppo spesso con Alawar, non c'è la lingua italiana!
[If the first part of this game will leave you alive (as well as the absence of a map), when you find the way to the fairytales world you will really enjoy yourself, and a lot. Scenes with hidden objects are well-made (look at it, because you'll have to go back at least a couple of times), while mini-games swing between "easy" and "you try to click at random, if you're lucky enough, Otherwise ... hello hello. " History, music, scenes and movies are definitely of good quality, and compensate for the absence of the map (but the teddy bear with the balloon thinks ...). Three stars because, as it happens too often with Alawar, there is no Italian language!]
Una storia molto solida (forse fin troppo "ricca" di personaggi, alcuni soltanto accennati), buoni i filmati, le animazioni e la musica, di alta qualità le scene. Ma alla fine risulta essere un po' noioso, forse perché la mappa non consente spostamenti rapidi. Come dice una canzone italiana famosa: "Ho girato e rigirato senza sapere dove andare...". E' però innegabile che le scene con oggetti nascosti e i mini-giochi sono totalmente funzionali all'evolversi della storia, ed io ho rilevato solo due piccoli errori "d'immagine" in un mini-gioco. Il punta-e-clicca a volte fa cilecca, ma con un po' di pazienza si va avanti. Per me, tre stelle per il valore complessivo del gioco.

But in the end it turns out to be a bit tedious, perhaps because the map does not allow fast moves. As one famous Italian song says: "I turned and turned without knowing where to go ...". However, it is undeniable that scenes with hidden objects and mini-games are totally functional to the evolution of history, and I have only detected two small "image" errors in a mini-game. The tip-and-click sometimes flips, but with a little patience you go ahead. For me, three stars for the overall value of the game.]
For starters, this game has beautiful graphics. The graphics alone are a work of art. The soundtrack is also beautiful. The music engages you while you battle monsters and walk through toxic lands. The storyline is also engaging. You quickly get immersed into the storyline as you try to help your friend. Now comes the fustrating part: the gameplay. The gameplay is entertaining and challenging at times, however, the main character dies too easily. This is especially frustrating when battling boss characters. In order to truly appreciate the gameplay, you have to be patient because the main character is prone to die multiple times throughout the entire game. The main character does not have a health bar so he will die instantly when exposed to dangerous threats. Though the graphics, the music, and the storyline are great, the patience factor is what made me give this game three stars.
If I'm not completely sold on a game I'll wait around for a price drop. The Mafia series is an exception. However It isn't what I wanted from Mafia III. That coupled with some bad reviews I decided to park it until a price drop. It finally dropped enough for me and I'm roughly 2 hours in. Going in with low expectations it really is a fairly decent game. It isn't what I wanted but I'm definitely going to keep playing.
