Cities: Skylines - Natural Disasters
 –

Not bad

A good DLC if you're into doomsday scenarios, however other then that it doesn't add much for people that just want to build a nice city.

Just game No soundtrack dlc

The key is only for game, no soundtrack dlc(and no way to buy the soundtrack dlc after separately).

It should be specified somewhere in the description on the page that the key is only for game.

Its one of the best rogue-like platformer game.
The weapon variety, the enemies, the random generated levels makes this game mindblowing.

Also its really difficult (at harder difficulty levels)

Really user-unfriendly iteration

Really bad decisions by Sports Interactive/Sega for this year's edition.

They decided to go for "realism" by putting in a Covid-barrier on most of the transfer market, and also by cutting a lot of the visible data, largely in favour of emojis. This would've been ok, if they didn't also decide to break out the information that was previously neatly ordered in vertical lists into literally circularly ordered info boxes all over the screen, with the information in games being all over the place so you can't get a good overview of anything. Adding to this, they have added a lot of extra clicks for simple tasks, slowing down the decision process and the flow of the game to a standstill.

The feel of the game is a laggy-feeling mess where important info pops up all over the screen at the same time. Instead of being a game that used to allow the player to process lots of information to make the best decision, the game hits a double whammy of hiding the information and slowing down the interaction with it. I regret buying it, even on sale.

Great RTS

Good story mode and co-op/multiplayer modes, maybe the game isn't as good overall as COH1, but it's worth trying

Risk of Rain 2
 –

A serviceable roguelike

I'm a huge fan of roguelikes - Slay the Spire, Enter the Gungeon, Binding of Isaac etc. This game just doesn't really sink its teeth into me like those other games.

I think where Risk of Rain 2 kind of falters is in what abilities you get, and how those abilities are given to you. It's a bit of a slog to get started in a RoR2 run. The fun of the game comes from having a ton of stacked abilities/variations of abilities later on. Most abilities on their own are fairly generic and pretty bland (gain life after a kill, do some fire damage when shooting, run faster when not fighting etc).. Getting a single powerup rarely is a gamechanger, and is not very exciting on its own.

RoR2 is about the quantity of powerups, whereas the other games mentioned above have a more interesting quality of powerups. I rarely feel let down when grabbing a new gun or powerup in EtG or BoI since each pickup is meaningful. In RoR2 the fun is later in the runs when all 30 of your powerups make you unstoppable.

RoR2 is still unique each run, and the different characters are fun to play around with. I just feel like this genre has been done much better elsewhere. The 3D aspect is interesting, but it by no means makes this a better game than those mentioned above.

I'd give it a 3.5 if this site allowed because its not a bad game by any stretch, its just not a standout in its field.

Death Stranding
 –

A dystopian imagery out of the ordinary

The introductory sequence and the first few hours of play are worth the price of the key, because they offer a dystopian imagery out of the ordinary. Technically it is very solid and on mid-range PCs it holds up 60 FPS effortlessly. The gameplay is likely to bore but the strong narrative component lightens the repetitiveness.
