More love for Dark Elves and Lizardmen

A pretty balanced DLC, with enough attention to both Dark Elves and Skaven.
Both bring new useful units to their roster and have interesting campaigns. It doesn't reach the level of the Queen and Crone for DE or Warlock and Prophet for Skaven, but the new heroes and Lords make up for it.

Europa Universalis IV: Emperor

The biggest DLC for EU4 so far

This is certainly the biggest DLC made for EU4 so far, it focuses on the core of EU4, Europe, religion, the balance of power, the HRE. Bringing a lot more depth and flavor to those mechanics. Finaly removes some 'buttons for X' (the old estate interactions) and add a more realistic and dynamic system.

So far I'm liking it a lot. Tonight going to start my first multiplayer with some friends, lets see how that goes!

One of the Essentials

A lot of people seemed to take issue with this DLC when it released, but I think it adds a lot to the game; internal politics are severely lacking without it. Definitely disable Defensive Pacts in the game start settings, though.

Good Sign from Paradox

This is the kind of DLC I'd like to see them release more of. I came to Imperator recently, on the 1.4 patch. So far I'm liking the new direction they're taking with it: major QoL and feature updates for free, charging a reasonable sum for cosmetics and flavor packs. Definitely beats the EU4/CK2 model of locking major gameplay features behind a paywall. So far I've had a lot of fun with Syracuse and Sparta with this pack. Recommended.
