Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader - Season Pass 2
 –

Rogue Trader Second Season*****

The second DLC is not out yet, but given the quality of the first one, Owlcat deserves the support.
If it turns out to be terrible, I'll go back to rewrite this rewview.

Age of Wonders 4: Expansion Pass 2
 –

First 2nd season pass for an Age of Wonders game*****

Age of Wonders 4 was a big surprise.
It came with a very interesting system to customise your units, faction, gameplay and heroes.
Different from previous entries, so check if you like it before buying.

Personally, I loved it. So much that I got the first expansion pass and now I'm getting the second.
You don't only get cultures and leaders, check what else comes with each expansion, because they're full of surprises that spice up the game.

Stellaris: Ancient Relics Story Pack
 –

Mandatory DLC*****

The interactions with other dlcs and the advantages that brings to the table make this one of the almost mandatory DLCs for Stellaris.

Stellaris: Nemesis
 –

Not much for the game*****

The ''expansion'' brings the possibility of becoming the big threat for the galaxy, one to compete with the end game crisis.

Sadly, that's all it really does.
It's so devoid of content that the devs had to bundle a new ship set with it.

Stellaris: Humanoids Species Pack
 –

You can skip it*****

Unlike other species packs that bring a mechanic or two to the game, this one doesn't add anything other cosmetic stuff.

Portraits and ships inspired on classic sci fi designs and fantasy races.

Crusader Kings III: Friends & Foes
 –

Passable DLC*****

Pointless add-on, created only to get some revenue while the team cycles trough months and months of... Who knows what.

You'll never need this DLC, you'll never miss either.
Get it only as a way to tip the developers.

Total War: WARHAMMER III
 –

Culmination of the trilogy*****

Too early to tell, but this might be the beginning of the end for the epic Warhammer trilogy.
Biggest map so far, dozens of factions, dozens of mechanics and a hundred unique units.
Can't wait.

Crusader Kings III: Royal Edition
 –

Paradox best launch*****

For the CK2 veterans, it can feel like the game is missing features. But overlooking a few those underused and underveloped features, we get the best Paradox game at launch, without comparison.
Recommended to both newcomers and veterans

Europa Universalis IV: Emperor Content Pack
 –

Best pack so far*****

The guys at Paradox outdid themselves. This is by without a doubt the best looking pack when it comes to units.
It's still an unnecessary cosmetic pack, but if you are into it, this might be one of the best.

Total War: WARHAMMER II - The Shadow & The Blade
 –

More love for Dark Elves and Lizardmen*****

A pretty balanced DLC, with enough attention to both Dark Elves and Skaven.
Both bring new useful units to their roster and have interesting campaigns. It doesn't reach the level of the Queen and Crone for DE or Warlock and Prophet for Skaven, but the new heroes and Lords make up for it.

Europa Universalis IV: Emperor
 –

Final update for old friends*****

A final update to some nations like Germany/HRE, the Papal Estates, Revolutionary Empires and a few others.
It comes with the Hegemonys too, which in a way is a great addition to the usual big powers, like the Ottomans, Russia or Great Britain.
Not a great DLC on it's own, but it complements the older ones.

Stellaris: Federations
 –

Best expansion since Utopia*****

The latest dlc for Stellaris, the one that finally brings the requested diplomacy rework.
Federations and coalitions matter in the galaxy thanks to this expansion. New laws, rules for everyone in the galaxy to obey and system borrowed from EU4 that allows you to get favours from other races to make your diplomatic schemes easier.
A must have.

Stellaris: MegaCorp
 –

Lackluster*****

Is sad to see what should have been a content pack/flavour DLC like Synthetic Dawn become (and be priced) as an expansion. It's definitely lackluster. The new governments are only fun at the beginning, but they have their problems, and the AI is still incapable to administrate their civilisations.
On top of that, this ''expansion'' is bundled together with some almost essential megaconstructions and the slave market. The market is already in the game and the enslaver civilisations come in another expansion, yet if you want to sell your slaves in the galaxy market, you NEED this expansion. Ugh.

XCOM 2: War of the Chosen
 –

Absolutely necessary*****

Incredible addition that adds new challenges and ways to play to the base game.
The Chosen work in a way similar to the old monarchs, but they evolve and get new powers and advantages as time goes on.
The new classes work with a whole new skill system that opens new possibilities and ways to play the game.

XCOM 2 - Reinforcement Pack DLC
 –

Does its job*****

The DLCs included here are not that amazing, to be honest, but they do their job and they do it well.
The Alien monarchs can become a challenge on harder difficulties, specially when they appear unannounced, but they not something an experienced player would struggle against.
The included weapons can definitely become overpowered though.

Something similar with the robot DLC. The new level is fun and interesting and after finishing, you get access to a robot of your own. They are fairly balanced and, in my opinion, tend to get almost obsolete by the end of the mid-game, but they are still a good addition. Specially if paired with mods like LW2.
