One of the Essentials

A lot of people seemed to take issue with this DLC when it released, but I think it adds a lot to the game; internal politics are severely lacking without it. Definitely disable Defensive Pacts in the game start settings, though.

Good Sign from Paradox

This is the kind of DLC I'd like to see them release more of. I came to Imperator recently, on the 1.4 patch. So far I'm liking the new direction they're taking with it: major QoL and feature updates for free, charging a reasonable sum for cosmetics and flavor packs. Definitely beats the EU4/CK2 model of locking major gameplay features behind a paywall. So far I've had a lot of fun with Syracuse and Sparta with this pack. Recommended.
