Crusader Kings II: Sons of Abraham
 –

One of the first DLCs you should buy

Fun and adds some extra content that you will enjoy' also gives you a whole to objective to pursure as the Jews which can add many hours into the game if you try it out. Nothing much else except a few religous decisions and "borrowing" Jew gold and kicking those Hebrews out of you country for good ahahaha. This should probably be one of the first DLCs you should buy.

After several hours of pillaging, killing and Stealing in England, nothing feels better then returning home and sitting down to play some Viking Conquest.

R.U.S.E.

REQUIRES STEAM

Urrgh it requires STEAM. Didn't even install it. I stopped using Steam a long time ago. I'd go to play a game and it would insist on updates, or it wouldn't connect, or it would ask for the DVD when it was an online purchase. Far too unreliable, glad I only wasted two bucks.

The Night of the Rabbit is a point and click game that tries to be pleasing at least.

Broken Age
 –

Second Act, Second Rate

I played the first act way back when, and loved it. Every bit of it: the premise, the visuals, the characters, the humour. Both characters were reasonably complex with relateable problems, and their worlds developed interesting dilemmas. I cared about what was going on and what would happen to Shay and Vella.

I cared so much, in fact, that I struggled to wait patiently for the second act to emerge so that I could resolve the tense and mind-boggling cliffhanger in which I found myself.

The second act was released, and, with all the excitement of the world in my mind, I played the game again to subdue my turbulent imagination and find out what happened to my beloved characters.

And... meh. Perhaps there was too much build up? Perhaps I'd been waiting so long that I made up my own ending?

Don't mistake me, the second age is entertaining. But it's just not... there. The story starts to get a little too implausible and ridiculous, and changes are made to the narrative that fundamentally affect how you see the first act. In my view, this ruins much of what made the first act good, and I felt a little robbed of my initial pleasure. Also, some of the characters' motivations start to fall apart a bit, and the ending feels like it's full of holes.

Three stars. Three stars because the first act was captivating. And three stars, because the second act was not.

Anomaly Defenders
 –

Another amazing Tower Defense

Another amazing game from their Tower Defense series. Unfortunately, this game isn't as popular as it should be. Highly recommended!

Pros:

+ Graphics
+ Voice acting
+ Tech tree
+ Plenty of maps
+ Energy bar, as it's a very interesting concept and requires more tactical placement of your towers.

Cons:

- Can be a bit hectic during the bigger battles
- It's pretty much same as every Tower Defense

Morningstar: Descent to Deadrock
 –

Short, interesting

The game doesn't take very long to finish and the main character's voice is annoyingly bored and affectless, but the puzzles are interesting. The option of getting a clue by calling one's shipmate works quite well and is handy. The puzzles are not generally very hard but a couple require more trial-and-error.

Might & Magic X - Legacy Deluxe Edition
 –

Old memories

Sorry, there is a reason tech changes and advances. While I grew up with these types of games, I can honestly say this game reminded me of how bad user interfaces were back then. I did enjoy playing it, I will play it but to be honest, I am very happy user interfaces have advanced.

Kitty Powers' Matchmaker
 –

Terrible

I love stupid games, (mostly time management) this game is completely boring and awful. You have to enter information about yourself for them to possibly share to matchmake you online, you can click a box to decline sharing after you enter info about yourself. Then the entire game is you choosing one person then picking from a couple of potential matches by their common interests. On their date you start by knowing what they want to eat. They give a hint like "something cold with no meat" and you choose the appropriate dish, then you spin a slot machine that has about 4-5 topics to talk about and each time you loose points if you choose the same topic. There maybe, depending on the date other little things thrown in like asking which waiter was yours or looking at 4 desserts and then when they say "I'll take the first one" you have to remember what the first one was. If the date goes well then at the end of the date they state that they are in love and your matchmaking rating goes up. Overall soooooo slow, pointless and boring, I actually fell asleep. Do not waste your money. Again I love stupid games but this is waaaay beyond that.
