I really do enjoy the added mechanics. The Spain civil war is massively fleshed out and I also really like the focus trees for France and Portugal. The spy system is something I like as well but it does not feel like a "must have". Nevertheless a must have if you enjoy HOI4 and especially the alt-history part of it.
A very needed naval expansion for HOI4. It took me quite a while to learn the new mechanics but in the end for it is quite a large improvement to before. As the norm is with the latest HOI4 DLC the new focus trees are excellent and especially if you enjoy the alt-history content.
The guys at Paradox outdid themselves. This is by without a doubt the best looking pack when it comes to units. It's still an unnecessary cosmetic pack, but if you are into it, this might be one of the best.
Very enjoyable game. Requires setting up a bit of infrastructure before the first humans can arrive, with each play-through offering different sci-fi story - making the game quite different to being "just a city-sim in a space setting".
This edition comes with the DLCs, of which especially "Green planet" does nicely expand on the game-play.
Well, not exactly realistic, as real-life Berlin is these days home rather to call-centers than to HQs of corporations - and a bit more focus on "education" would have been more realistic (with Prussian Berlin having been quite a place for that, with professors such as Prussian citizen Albert Einstein, before he was chased out by Germans who were struggling to even figure out what end of a cow fodder goes in). Nevertheless, in context of the game as such, this DLC adds even more enjoyable content.
Game comes with various modes and a campaign with story (told by narrator inbetween short levels). Hitboxes do not seem much fine-tuned. All in all, at that price I wouldn't call it a bad deal, but not really anything to come back to after an hour of checking out the content.
If one happens to play the game for at least several hours, one may appreciate the expanded arsenal. But as it seems unlikely to get to such a point, such a pack is quite a waste.
This DLC is a nice addition to the game. It could do with some integration into the UI tho, so that opening the overview for the Festival Area (and stadiums etc.) doesn't require having to click on the building in sometimes rather large cities.
Less content than previous, better guns and mechanics
Borderlands 2 and even borderlands pre sequel had a better and more of a story than this new one. I feel less compelled to replay the game even with the dlcs, but the guns are prettier and cars and more mechanics better
