Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series (Telltale Key)

Enjoyable Time Killer

Telltale's formula after the Walking Dead has largely been unchanged. This particular series however does seem more "branchy" than the walking dead. Deciding if the additional "branchiness" comes for better or for worse will be up to the individual. Don't expect too many clever twists on the mechanics. The story itself is competently put together and the characters are recognizable from their filmic counterparts. However, this game does take place in it's own universe apart from the MCU, backstories and some characters do diverge differently from the films.

Not as good as it may seem

I had quite high expectations from this game however it sadly fails to deliver. The DLC situation , were you have to pay for extra divisions, is also not ideal to say the least. And because the company is now too busy preparing Steel Division 2 this game is not going to get any better than it already is.

Amazing Introduction to the Bioshock Series

I am one of those people who had never heard of Bioshock before Infinite. That was pretty much the bulk of my experience with the series. I have to say, despite being older, there isn't much missing in the line of experience. This game has a great storyline and the gameplay is amazing. My only complaint is that the control system on keyboard is a bit less developed and more confusing as a result.

Great Franchise for JRPG Lovers Everywhere

Many many people new to the JRPG genre will find that grinding is not for them. That's fine but there are those who will also find a newfound joy and love for the genre. In terms of gameplay, Neptunia serves as a great entry-point to those looking to get into the JRPG genre. It is fairly inspired by Persona and SMT's combat systems although it is much much more simplified. The difficulty is also lower but rewarding, which is perfect for new players. Grinding is fun and finding yourself dominating enemies that used to give you trouble instills a certain confidence in you. All in all, I have only just gotten started with this game (10 hours) and it's already convinced me to buy every main game in the series. No regrets so far.

What Sim City Should've Been

I am a huge Sim City fan who was left feeling sour after EA completely destroyed the series. A few days into this game and I feel like I am reliving my old memories of prime Sim City all over again, but better.
