Wolfenstein: The New Order
 –

Shooting Nazis is a lot of fun now.

This game def makes up for the last Wofenstein remake and keeps the series back on track as one of the FPS genre's giants. Tight gameplay, super good storlyine, beautiful game all around. The best part is I got it basically free because of WinGameStore's points system.

Castlevania: Lords of Shadow – Ultimate Edition
 –

New life in a classic series

You know the deal: You're a Belmont, go kill Dracula. But now you stake his vampire ass in 3D. It's a pretty solid action game and I appreciate the DLC being included with the base game now that it's a little older. There's a certain game about killing Greek gods that this will definitely remind you of, while keeping all of the classic Castlevania elements in tact.

L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition
 –

Always going to revisit this game.

I had so much fun playing this when it came out on 360 years ago. Now that I'm on PC I find that I'm slowly reacquiring all of my old favs, this game included. The look and feel of 1930s LA are so authentic. The city isn't as populated and life like as Los Santos, but the people and your interactions with them are simply beautiful. The dialog captures the era like you were watching old movies. The sleuthing is so much fun. Chasing guys down and brawling never gets old. The music is a perfect 5/7. Sets the mood without being obnoxious. This game is a wonderful experience top to bottom.

Gothic® 3
 –

Scratches my RPG itch nicely enough...

But it's not as satisfying as say a Dragon Age: Origins or a Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition, either. It's a little buggy and it's got issues with combat and voice work, but it's not bad. You ever pick a game that's just ok at best, but you go all in on it anyway? That's this game. Get it on sale to get your true money's worth.

Marlow Briggs and the Mask of Death
 –

I wasn't expecting much, but...

It's got charm and style for it's cheap price. This game is proof that you don't need a $50 million budget to make a decent action game.

Stories: The Path of Destinies
 –

Great title with a few big flaws.

Third person action choose-your-own-adventure. That's the best way to describe this game's genre. It's lots of fun, but i gets hella repetitive because of all the story rewinding and repetitive (but very good) combat and enemy types. If they do a squel and address the issues, it'll win game of the year fo sho.
