Stories: The Path of Destinies is an action-RPG set in a vibrant fairytale universe filled with floating islands, majestic airships, and colorful magic. Reynardo, ex-pirate and unintentional hero, suddenly becomes the last line of the defense against the mad Emperor and his countless ravens. Can he come up with a plan that won’t blow up in his face, for a change?

In Stories, each choice you make takes Reynardo into a unique narrative. From tongue-in-cheek takes on heroic adventures to dark, Lovecraftian scenes, Stories’ repertoire is as diverse as it is action-packed. But Reynardo’s fateful decisions won’t always come easy: Sometimes retrieving a weapon lost at the beginning of time means sacrificing the life of an old friend. But with so many choices to make, so many potential dire destinies, wouldn't it be great to be able to come back in time, learn from your mistakes and find the one true path?
  • Unique choice-based narrative in which players explore many different storylines to find the path to victory
  • Fluid and fast-paced combat blending acrobatic swordplay, grab attacks, special abilities, and more
  • Charming hand-drawn illustrations and a colorful storybook aesthetic

  1. Short and Easy, But Highly Replayable
    by ChaosKnight, USA - Dec 24th 2017

Fast paced combat and very colorful, this is a very fun game that is hampered somewhat by its poor voice acting, short length, and below average graphics. Overall I would recommend this game to anyone looking for something fast and easy. You will have to try hard to die in this game. There's over 2 dozen endings and story paths and though I've only gone through a handful, I've yet to die a single time, even on my first playthrough.

  2. Choose your own story
    by Noodles214, Germany - Oct 22nd 2017

Stories: The Path of Destinies is a nice little ARPG. One playthrough only lasts 45-60 minutes but the clou of the game is, that every playthrough you have to make four big decisions which change the story of the game and which levels you will see. There are 24 different stories to find. Problem is: The game becomes really repetitive after a while and it's too easy. The combat works similiar to the combat in the Batman-Arkham-Games. But there are not many different enemy types, you don't really need to use different tactis in combat. So altogether the game is funny for a few playthroughs, but the fun won't last so long, that you want to find all 24 stories.
