El Presidente is back!

In times of political turmoil and social unrest, the people are calling for visionary leaders, who will steer the fate of their country with foresight and ingenuity. Prove yourself once again as a feared dictator or peace-loving statesman on the island state of Tropico and shape the fate of your nation through four distinctive eras. Face new challenges on the international stage and always keep the needs of your people in mind.

For the first time in the series, manage extensive archipelagos, build bridges to connect your islands and use new means of transportation and infrastructure. Send your Tropicans on raids to steal the wonders of the world, including the Statue of Liberty and the Eiffel Tower. Customize your palace at will and give election speeches from your balcony, to win the favor of your subjects.

  1. Viva la revolucion

    Fantastic game, with a soundtrack that makes you feel like being in vacation.
    Just the tutorial is a mess which makes it harder to get into the game than it needs to be.

  2. WARNING! Tropico 6 May Not Work with OS Catalina

    Installed Tropico 6 (via Steam) on my iMac Pro (2017) running Mac OS 10.15.3 on March 21, 2020. Game did not start immediately; tried verifiying local files via Steam, then started again: Tropico 6 re-verified the files, started, then crashed right after initialization. Other purchasers have reported similar problems with this game running under 10.15.

  3. Doesn't Work!!

    Bought this game on Steam when it first came out - it had an error code that kept the game from fully loading, even after deleting/redownloading it three times. So, when I saw it on the MacGameStore I figured that they must have solved the issues with it. Well, it downloaded completely, but now it hangs up at start-up. So, I've asked the MacGamestore for a refund. Again. Reading the boards, the game seems to be very unstable - some people have no problem runnning it, while others with the same Macs never get it to work. Worst game rollout ever!
