  1. Isometric 3D turn based strategy, in the Cold War era

This game is good, but it could have been great. The turn-based strategy is similar to the X-COM games, but there is a big focus on stealth gameplay. If you break stealth, you can be attacked by endless waves of enemies. This design decision can turn off some people away from the game, it feels a bit constraining. In some missions there are also time limits, which some players don't like.

Outside the combat, managing your team and resources is fun. You have to collect hints and make connections between the story elements, to advance in the campaign. There is lots of freedom in the way you approach the missions or develop your characters. If you like X-COM, you will probably like this, but be aware that it plays a bit differently, you may be disappointed.

  2. Not XCom but still okay.

Don'T expect XCom Spy Edition when buying this. It's an okay game with some unique mechanics though. I got it in a sale and it was worth it but not sure I would say the same for full price.
