ROME wasn't built in a day while RTW2 needed 4 years to get a somewhat decent political system. As you may know with this DCL came also free patch which added this new political system and a couple of other things.
But if i look just at what this DLC offers i can say it does some things really good. I like the time period, which really is very interesting. The units and unit cards are well done and with addition of cults and sanitation campaign becomes a bit more challenging.
Where this DLC lacks are details like when ur playing with Armenia and you declare independence (war on Sassanids) you ruling party is still named "Sassanid governors".
Things like this certainly doesnt help immersion and neither do roman pikemen and other historically incorrect units.
So is this DLC worth playing? Well in my opinion it definitely is, but wait for sale because imo it is not worth 17€.
This game is fun. New units with new character icons which made it easier to see. Interesting campaign.
