  1. Brilliant

I have been a Civ fan since the first one. I think this version is really good. Graphics are better than in Civ V. The tech tree has some nice mini-missions to speed up research. However, I'm not a fan of the unit experience tree that was brought in from Civ V. The game runs slow in late game. All in all, a game that will entertain you for hours at a time.

  2. Another good one (not excellent though)

I love the Civilization franchise and come back to it repetedly from time to time. I agree with the popular opionion that Civ V is the supperior game to Civ VI. However it is a fresh touch to the series and it's fun to experience the ideas of the developers. I like the look and the new city building mechanic. Research, diplomacy and AI need improvement. And I don't care much for the dark and golden ages introduced with Rise and Fall.

All in all: Civ VI is still a recommendation, especially considering the pricing here on WGS.
