  1. Not evil enough

Dungeons 2 is... OK. Mechanically it works well enough, but it just doesn't have the charming evilness of Dungeon Keeper. Many of your minions seem to be silly/funny/cute/goofy, but what I really want from a game like this is to be an EVIL Overlord, not just a kinda slightly dark base builder.

  2. Fun but not very challenging

If you liked the original Dungeon Keeper games this game is for you.
Get the expansion a Game of Winter if you are looking for more challenge.

  3. Too complex, too fussy

I wanted to like this and had looked forward to it, but I found it too complex, with too many (unexplained) options. The interface was slightly glitchy for me (OSX 10.11), and seemingly simple tasks in the tutorial already took a lot of micromanagement and hitting pixels in exactly the right spot and order. (Any game where I need to quit and look at outside resources to work out how to handle the interface automatically lose points with me.) I never got to the point where I could actually _play_.
