Description

Come with El Presidente on a journey through time and space in the new ‘Surf’s Up!’ DLC for Tropico 5. In the not-too-distant future, Earth is under threat of alien incursion. The only hope for Tropico lies with the wise dolphins of the Pacific Ocean, who hold the power to veto this decision through bureaucracy! The Tropicans of tomorrow have asked El Presidente to utilise the brand new Dolphinarium building in order to attract tourists, make money and save the beautiful sea creatures. Help protect the island from unnecessary space tolls and you might just find the answer to the question of life, the universe and everything.

  1. A modest splash

    Yet another Tropico 5 dlc with a new building and scenario. The new dolphinarium is yet another tourist attraction (albeit a very popular one) and as such does not. The scenario, filled with funny references, is highly enjoyable.

  2. A decent mission, referencing Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy.

    You might see many Tropico DLCs out there and this one might not be special, but a collector, such as myself, wants them all. The standard setup is a new costume, new mission, and a new building, with a sandbox mode added. This then ends up being all about how much fun is the mission and how useful is the building? In this case, the building is mostly useless, but the mission makes it worth it. I would get it, if the price is right.
