    It is the game that started the series, it's a fantastic game and I recommend checking it out.

    You should know by now...*****

    I shouldn't have to say much about this game. It's borderlands at its most unpolished. Broke ground then, but has aged surprisingly bad compared to its sequels. Still, getting a gang of friends together and starting here like I did is almost a necessity in my mind. But honestly this chapter could be skipped entirely and almost nothing would be missed other than an emotional/story investment that pays off in later installments. Do not buy this game if you are going to solo it. Bad idea. Again, get some friends and step back in. Or don't.

    It's so good. Funny and clever at the same time. Amazing story. I spent more than 200 hours and still want to come back and kill some bastards. Claptrap for the win!
