    Building an Empire Feels Epic*****

Total War: ROME II: Emperor Edition is a fantastic experience for anyone who loves deep strategy games. The mix of managing your empire on a huge turn-based map and then zooming down to command thousands of soldiers in real-time battles is incredibly satisfying. The gameplay offers a lot of variety, letting you juggle politics, trade, and massive wars, and the Emperor Edition really polishes up the mechanics compared to the original launch. While there isn't a single scripted story mode, the Imperator Augustus campaign gives you a great historical starting point to forge your own path, making every playthrough feel like writing your own history book. The graphics hold up really well, with unit details that look amazing when you zoom in to watch the chaotic fighting up close. It can be a bit overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it, leading your legions to victory is totally worth it.

    Came Good*****

Rome 2 was extremely bugged upon release and infuriated countless fans, including die hard Total War fans. With the release of the Emperor Edition, most of all these bugs and performance problems had been successfully adressed, making this entry one of the best that Total War had and has ever seen.

To this day, I still enjoy replaying campaigns just for the heck of it. Meaning bingeplaying for weeks at end and still not getting bored.
