The NEW CITB game has now been released with the new UNREAL5 Engine 10/16/2023 for PC and we are working to get the new version for MAC out as soon as possible.
Cypress Inheritance: The Beginning came out in 2014. We went through a lot of changes after the launch. However, the game was still not what was intended to be.
We have been working to rebuild this entirely and now have completed. We have gone through a lot of changes in the company, and this has taken much longer than we expected but we have launched the new CITB game. This is essentially a completely new game. We are confident the game is now an exceptional experience, very engaging, with strong replay ability with its design. In the rebuild we have also added a considerable amount of additional content with several changes to the game play. Cypress Inheritance: The Beginning is now what was intended, and dramatically improved, with using the benefits of UE5 and many additions to the game play. We have made tremendous changes to all the art, UI, characters and overall flow of the game.
A few of the newer features include:
• 3rd person perspective
• A very strong inventory system.
• An in-game map system with scrolling ability, as well will be upgrade-able.
• Detailed weather system that does affect the character and achieving goals.
• Rebuilt in UE5
• Re-shot and new in-game cinematics
• Complete overhaul of SFX and FX systems
• Completely new assets including character, animations, and props
• Redesigned AI for a more challenging and engaging experience
• Steam controller Support
• Steam Achievements
• Steam Cloud save
About:
Lorna Ritten has learned of Alfred Cypress, her grandfather whom she has never known, her family past has always been somewhat of a mystery. She also learns of what she has inherited, of which she has no idea of just how important this actually is to her and others. After being contacted by a stranger, this leads her into the beginning of a very unique situation. Regardless of what she is facing, she must continue forward to achieve what is needed for herself, and so much more!
Arriving at a secluded island, the setting is somewhat overwhelming. But, even with the vastness and mystery of the Island, and what dangers may lay ahead, she is still very intrigued. While knowing very little about Alfred Cypress, it is very obvious he has an eccentric nature, as well as brilliance in him. The technology discovered conveys all this in many ways. There is so much to do, not a lot of time, and the realization of the need to be extremely careful.
Cypress Inheritance: The Beginning will give you a unique gaming experience to enjoy. We intended for this game to enable the player to have options, as well as objectives in an environment with an A.I. that is defending the area. Cypress Inheritance: The Beginning delivers a true-to-life, stealthy gaming experience set in multiple open worlds. As you experience our true cause and effect system while on the path to achieving your goals, the strategy you use will have consequences and those decisions will ultimately determine your success or failure.

- Locate – Find valuable information and uncover the secrets which were kept from you for so long. You will be given technology that will allow you to use stealth, which will enable you to search without being detected and will help you in achieving your mission.
- Survive – You must overcome challenges and obstacles while balancing your health and stamina. Having only 72 hours to accomplish your mission, you will need to use strategy, patience and stay strong to achieve your objectives.
- You only have one chance to complete your mission – Your choices and use of resources on Cypress Island will have permanent consequences that affect your chances of surviving the island and completing your mission.
- The Enemy – Beware of Vonya and the additional AI she has to help her. She knows why you are here and is determined to capture you and prevent you from completing your mission. Health, stamina, and how you strategize and traverse the area are extremely important to help you gain the assets she is protecting.
- Multiple endings – Based on choices you make throughout the game, your ending will be different.

Doesn't even start!
The game doesnt start because of a missing file error. I tried fixing it, but couldnt find a solution to get it to work. Shouldnt have bought the game. :(

Runs, but badly.
I can run it but at about 2 to 3 FPS. I've got a relatively new iMac which runs most games beautifully. Turning down graphic settings doesn't help. The game looks interesting and somebody put some work into it. They should fix it. I'm givning it 2 stars instead of one because it has potential.
