  1. This is a superior strategic game- could use greater replayability

I found myself with all of Napoleon's forces able to meet the conditions of victory, ironically enough marching the massive armies of Europe through the barren cold of Sweden. In reality his war in Russia basically ruined his military ambitions as most of his army was vanquished by the Moscow winter. While I intensely enjoyed the 20 years of gameplay I had a harder time replaying the game than with other grand strategy games.

  2. A bit light

Not at all like most other Paradox grand strategy titles, this one is more like Risk on steroids. But it sure does impress upon you how HUGE Russia is.

  3. Complex and challenging (but not too much)

As with other Paradox games, I'm enjoying the complexity and the challenges. It reminds me of a Napoleonic version of "Hearts of Iron II" with the obvious reduction in unit types and other challenges of 20th Century warfare. That said, it still has a great chopice for units and requires a level of skill to win!

Be warned, this game is not for someone who wants a casual game. It is complex and requires much attention to detail. Neglect your supply train and you won't be successful, for example.

At the same time, the game is not so complex as to make it impossible for a more casual gamer to enjoy. Just be ready for the challenges that come forth from the beginning until the end!
