Great but short and front-loaded
This is a great entry into the Resident Evil franchise and they did a phenomenal job of seamlessly integrating two different playstyles, but I would wait for a sale all the same.
It's very short, even by Resident Evil's standards, and I'd argue the replicability is also lacking compared to other entries. There's little incentive to play on NG+ and not as much weapon variety as I would've liked.
Another issue is that the game feels very front-loaded, with systems being introduced in ways that implied they'd remain relevant throughout the game but were only briefly relevant. I still remember completing the first main section of the game and thinking to myself that this could end up being my new favorite resident evil game, then noticing I had already collected almost half of the collectible notes in the game and was really disappointed.

Great Resident Evil game with classic and action gameplay, also lots of mods to elevate it to a even higher status.
