    Your own 80s action movie*****

And by action movie I mean just leading a mercenary company. Kinda like MGS V but its turn based TRPG. Well worth it for the fans of games like xcom and aforementioned 80s action movie vibe

    Good*****

It's a pretty good tactical game though I feel like it leans a bit too much into RPG than I wanted. Tone is a bit silly and goofy but there is a lot of tactical depth here.

    Very Good*****

Let's be honest, i'm old and i grew up playing JA1 and JA2. I was reticent at first buying JA3 because many modern sequels failed to capture the essence of the games we grew up with, maybe because nostalgia was so strong in our veteran souls and the new ones failed to live up to the hype of our expectations, either because the cancel culture of nowadays annulled many of the salty jokes that made us laugh and appreciate them games. Seems JA3 didn't get the memo - it's still the same action packed game we grew up with, full of those slimy 90-00s jokes we all enjoyed so much. Go give it a go, you won't be dissapointed. Well, maybe except by Gus's dad jokes. :)
