Elden Ring

Elden Ring is Dark Souls 4: The Open World in everything but name. It's a bit closer to DS2 than to DS3, though the stamina bar might as well not exist here either.
The open world itself is nice, early to mid game is amazing, but the late game drags on just a little bit longer than it should. (Though going through every nook and cranny probably didn't help.) It has a lot of content, but there are quite a few reskinned and/or copypasted bosses in the open world, in the side quests, and even in the main dungeons (think Asylum/Stray Demon, Smelter/Blue Smelter Demon, etc). The main bosses are generally well done, and I quite liked the gimmick bosses too, most were great spectacles, if a bit easy. Mounted combat is a hit or miss with melee weapons, like literally, and continuous circle-strafing with ranged, makes some OW encounters easy to cheese.
All in all it's a great game, well worth the price.
