Feels like RE4 in first person
RE Village is definitely far more action heavy than it's predecessor, but it handles this well. Horror doesn't feel abandoned, but is balanced perfectly with action in a way no game since RE4 has. Easily one of the best entries in the RE franchise.

Instant Classic
Resi 8 follows Ethan after Resi 7. This time our boy has spending some times training in the military and making babies, and is no longer a bozo snooping in some psycho boomers house. Now he'll face the tall vampire lady and her chump siblings who are up to no good to get back her Lego prices of a daughter. Combat is improved a lot, and environment art is something else.
Only valid criticisms is that is not that scary of a game (except for 1 part), giving Res 7 the crown in atmospheric horror. Everything else is turned to 11.
Nice game. Nice vamp ladies. Better fat merchant. So get it now and watch all the new gory stuff Capcom does to Ethan's hands.
