  1. Not as brilliant as the original game

I loved the original game back then and definitely played it through three times. Unfortunately, this remake is a product of today: polished to a high gloss and completely suitable for the mass market. This means that some of the very original original missions have degenerated into standard procedures. In addition, the experience has been shrunk from around 18 hours to just 12.
However, if you don't know the original and don't want to endure the old graphics, you should definitely enjoy the remake. "Old hands" will probably not be that enthusiastic.

  2. Fun but has issues

A good remake of an old classic but the game has issues when it comes to bugs and optimization. YMMV.

  3. Good game

A masterpiece remake of a masterpiece!
Don't be a pu**y, play on Classic mode, and turn on manual transmission for the best experience!

+One thing I realize, is that although Mafia's city is far more restricted, and far less expansive than Los Santos in GTA5, I find it much more justifiable/pleasant to drive slowly or even walk in the City of Lost Heaven than in Los Santos.
