  1. Kinda unique

For me best historic warfare game. Devs also do updates and replaybility is high.

  2. A forward-looking successor to Warband

I'm a big fan of Mount & Blade: Warband, so I eventually got around to buying Bannerlord and enjoyed my time with it. At the least, it's fun seeing Mount & Blade with modern graphics, overhauled UI, and an expanded map. It does have a few rough patches, such as some missing features from the previous game and quirks regarding garrisons, but a Warband player can roll with some of the jank.

I would still recommend starting with Warband, but try out Bannerlord if it's on sale and want to see the next installment.

  3. Create your medieval adventure!

Mount and blade is all about creating your character and create your story in the world.
From a warlord to a thief, you can also be a trader so just follow whatever you feel like.

The only con is that the game still doesn't feel complete (diplomacy feels very shallow).

Lastly i want to mention modding comunity. There is a lot of modding on this game, if you like mods you can heavily expand the game!
