  1. A great mishmash

Some parts are good, like the fighting system and other parts, like the art style are rather bad. The level design is bland and the art style strange at best. Why do the natives look exactly like the colonists? Why does everyone remark that the main character looks strikingly like a native when everyone does? Why do you have to mix modern tatoos, with victorian colthing and outlandish native cloths? Why do the faces of the people alltogether look look like they are all undead?
The story is weird. People talk in circles and tend to be, just like the art, rather bland. You do not feel involved at all while playing or making desicions in dialogs. Often you would like to answer a certain way, but you are not even allowed a choice.
In the story the natives are "good" and the colonists are "bad". And yes its about that bland and shallow through out the game.
The companions do not even try to behave like people but rather want to be silly modern stereotypes (weak male, strong female).
The whole game has a "I am not made for PCs" feel about it. You can climb walls only if you have the necessary skill but you can not jump. There are a bunch of invisible walls and animals only turn up for a short time till they vanish in thin air.
My final verdict: This game could be good, if a lot changed and if it would get a more believable story and characters.
