Great remake*****

Great remake, modern gameplay, graphics in Unreal Engine 5 quite impressive if you have a good PC powerful enough.

Total War™: ROME II: Emperor Edition
 –

Building an Empire Feels Epic*****

Total War: ROME II: Emperor Edition is a fantastic experience for anyone who loves deep strategy games. The mix of managing your empire on a huge turn-based map and then zooming down to command thousands of soldiers in real-time battles is incredibly satisfying. The gameplay offers a lot of variety, letting you juggle politics, trade, and massive wars, and the Emperor Edition really polishes up the mechanics compared to the original launch. While there isn't a single scripted story mode, the Imperator Augustus campaign gives you a great historical starting point to forge your own path, making every playthrough feel like writing your own history book. The graphics hold up really well, with unit details that look amazing when you zoom in to watch the chaotic fighting up close. It can be a bit overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it, leading your legions to victory is totally worth it.

Total War: PHARAOH
 –

Ruling the Sands of Egypt*****

Total War: PHARAOH is a refreshing dive into a time period we rarely see in strategy games, and it brings some awesome new mechanics to the table that make it stand out. The gameplay feels deeper than usual because you have to manage limited resources carefully and adapt to dynamic weather, like fighting through sudden sandstorms that actually debuff your troops. I really enjoyed the campaign structure where you aren't just painting the map but fighting a civil war for legitimacy to become the supreme Pharaoh, all while the entire civilization around you struggles against the Bronze Age Collapse. The graphics are stunning, especially the way the environments shift from the lush Nile delta to harsh deserts, and the unit details look incredible when you zoom in. It is a challenging and rewarding experience that proves you don't need a massive map to have a deep, engaging strategy game.

Total War™: ROME REMASTERED
 –

Conquering the Ancient World*****

This game brings a legendary strategy game to modern screens with an impressive visual overhaul that makes leading thousands of soldiers into battle feel epic. The graphics have been sharpened significantly, offering detailed unit models and vibrant environments that look great in 4K while keeping the distinct style of the original intact. The gameplay loop is addictive, perfectly mixing the intense real-time battles with the thoughtful turn-based strategy of managing your growing empire's economy and politics. While there is no scripted plot, the game excels at emergent storytelling where you forge your own history through conquests, betrayals, and dealing with the Senate's demands. It is a deep, satisfying experience that proves classic mechanics can still stand tall today, earning a solid recommendation for any strategy fan.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
 –

Good*****

I've just finished the main story and I'm astonished on how phenomenal RGG made it, along 2 other games releasing in a timespan of 365 days.

This game is very high up there, along Yakuza 0 and Lost Judgment on the best games of the franchise for me, story wise, gameplay, and amount of content.

Interesting story, cool graphics, comprehensive combat, all in all a great experience so far.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance
 –

Very Good*****

This game is great, but it is not for everyone. If you go into it thinking it'll be like Persona you'll be disapointed. (Looking at you IGN)

But if you go in expecting a tough but fair turn based rpg with quirky demons and a sick synth metal soundtrack you'll have a good time.

Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii
 –

Good*****

The ship combat is cool, the on deck combat is a bit weak, the on land fights feel more like classic Yakuza, and the story continues to be crazy Yakuza stuff, as always. overall would recommend.

Great Co-op Beat 'Em Up*****

A fun game to play with a friend. Definitely pick this up if you haven't already. Still hoping for a sequel.

Ready or Not

Decent spiritual successor to Squad 4*****

Overall I had a pretty fun time, however the AI feels a lot worse than in Squad 4. I still think it is worth a shot if you've enjoyed that game or have a few buddies to play with.

ARMORED CORE™ VI FIRES OF RUBICON™
 –

My favourite FromSoft game!*****

I had a great time with this game! The combat feels super rewarding, I never thought the game felt unfair or unbalanced either. I usually never bother with 100%ing a game. But I did keep playing this game until I got all endings!

STARFIELD
 –

Soulless*****

I usually quite enjoy Bethesda's games. But this game just feels...dull? It was fun initially and I enjoyed building my own spaceship, but none of the characters and locations felt truly special. It also ran very poorly on my PC (6750xt, 5800x3d). I think it's worth to try out on a sale but I wouldn't recommend it outside of that.

Pacific Drive
 –

Fun!*****

I haven't really played anything like this game. I quite enjoy the mix of survival gameplay with fixing and enhancing your car during your play-through. Performance was a little spotty but I still had a good time

The Forever Winter
 –

Needs more time in the oven*****

I genuinely love this game's concept. The art direction is amazing, but the gameplay just isn't quite there yet. It still feels very stiff and awkward at times, but I think it can become a great game in a year or two

Hearts of Iron IV

Good Grand Strategy Title*****

A lot easier to understand than HoI3. Grand Strategy games are something you either really get into or hate I think. I had fun with this one, the amount of mods for it are quite incredible! (I highly recommend Equestria At War if you happen to have any interest in MLP, that mod has absolutely insane amounts of lore)

Total War: WARHAMMER III - Omens of Destruction
 –

Fun time*****

Golgfag Maneater is the highlight of this pack in my opinion. I enjoy his gameplay of being a mercenary that swaps sides all the time. I enjoy how varied his battles are because of that, the other two lords are fine too but I honestly only got them to have the additional units. Some of them really should have been free content instead.

Total War: WARHAMMER III - Thrones of Decay
 –

Amazing lords!*****

All three lords are very cool.

I've mostly played Tamurkhan so far. I quite enjoy the mechanics he brings to the field. Forming your own warband with him is great, he's definitely a bit overpowered though. I personally don't mind though.

ARC Raiders
 –

Not my thing*****

Just feels like yet another extraction shooter to me personally. The voice acting feels extremely stiff (which makes sense, cause the voices are by AI). Combat feels fine but people tend to be quite toxic, there's some fun people around too though. I think I might just not be the game's target audience.

One of the best*****

One of the better FMs, I prefer this to FM26 easily. Good mods too.
