A great addition to the Stellaris DLC lineup. Gives leaders the boost they needed to become more relevant in the game beyond manning your ships and disappearing into anomalies.
While not as flashy as the Civilization Series, Millennia helps expand out the 4x genera with a nice humble game of it's own that is entertaining to say the least.
At the time of release, this was the only way to form federations and enjoy their mechanics. During this period, the federation system was a little lack luster. However, now with Stellaris 4.0 on the Horizon, this DLC is starting to look more promising as its features/gameplay is being enhanced along with the rest of Stellaris. Would recommend picking this up whenever it goes on sale.
HoI4 DLC can be hit and miss in some regards (this DLC included). While the Turkish tree is overly long and time locked in some regards, the Bulgarian Focus Tree and the Greek Focus Tree to some extent are definitely worth picking this DLC on when it's available.
Stellaris Crisis have very little variability, so this DLC remedies this by allowing you or a sufficiently powerful AI empire in the game to become the Crisis instead! Would pick up just for the fun roleplay opportunities!
Despite being in early access the current game is an upgrade tot he previous excellent game sins of solar empire.
IF you liked the previous game or enjoy RTS i highly recommend buying this game. If you just play SP games i'd recommend keeping an eye on the game. The SP campaign will come later so as long as it is cool enough the gameplay will elevate it.
I've played this on and off since release (and is now buying it for a friend), and there's so many quality of life changes made in this game compared to CKII. It's also very newbie friendly compared to its predecessor, which makes it great for people who haven't played Paradox titles before!
Okay, the launch of this didn't go well and there's a long way to go before the game is up there with the first Cities Skylines game. But Colossal Order has shown that they are willing to listen to the community and fix the issues with the game, which in my book means much.
There are however several quality of life mechanics, that in the previous game could only be added with mods , such as the road tools. There are new interesting gameplay mechanics in how you unlock stuff, and lots of different thing to try out and explore. Going into this, you won't be bored!
Not the best CK3 DLC, whole royal court is a bit repetitive. However it does have some important mechanics tied to the DLC like being able to hybridize different cultures. Get it on sale.

An extremely tight soft-reboot to the franchise, with almost nothing unnecessary tacked on. Gunplay, movement, level design and absolutely the plot and lore are all excellent. Obviously the highlight is the gameplay, but the plot and lore really should not be missed, with fantastic usage of "less is more" and "show don't tell" writing techniques that really elevate the experience.
There is definitely some clunkiness as the game goes on, with slightly rougher edges in the length of some later levels and boss fights. Additionally, many players are likely to favour some weapons over others which may feel like leaving fun on the table, and will rub up against some of the occasions the game tries to encourage more diverse weapons usage. This is further compounded by some clear "best in slot" weapons and weapon mods, especially in conjunction with challenge abilities - though the latter is really a reward more than anything.
Overall, Doom 2016 is probably one of the best single-player FPS games of all time, and I encourage anyone to buy it whether they're an FPS fan or not.
