Cognition: An Erica Reed Thriller - Game of the Year Edition

Adventure done right*****

A good adventure, intriguing and well-structured story in the various chapters, puzzles in most cases well-crafted (the best ones are definitely those that exploit the sensitive abilities of the protagonist). The problems are all of a technical nature: poor and certainly not memorable backgrounds, cumbersome controls and an excessive number of steps to conclude a simple action, 3D animations not at all exciting. If you manage to overcome these obstacles, you will find yourself in front of a worthy AG

SpellForce 2 – Anniversary Edition

Spellforce 2 - Anniversary Edition*****

I played this game a while ago but I never managed to finish it, now I'm playing it again on steam and what can I say, the first spell (platinum edition) was awesome but this one is even better. The story and gameplay are a bit boring at the beginning but then as you go on they both become awesome.

The combat system combines the development of the main characters (a very free system by the way since the player chooses which characteristics to develop) typical of RPGs with elements of strategy games such as the creation of troops, is very fun and interesting. The graphics are a bit dated I must say, but not excessively for me.

I recommend anyone interested in this game to first play all the spellforce of the platinum edition to understand the story a bit better and certain references to the first chapter present in this second chapter.
