Crusader Kings III: Royal Edition
 –

Fantastic Game

Just like the older titles of this series, this game is a mix of roleplaying and grand strategy: you play the member of a medieval dynasty (you can even create your own character and your own dynasty) who has to survive and expand his domains. You can start as a mighty emperor with lots of duties and enemies, but you can also start as a modest count and try to gain power and prestige. It's quite easy to learn how to play, and if you like the medieval setting you'll play for hundreds of hours.

Hearts of Iron IV: Together for Victory
 –

Another improvement

Interesting and funny focus trees for the nations of the Commonwealth. The dlc also improves the vassalage system, so it's quite useful you like to play as the British or the Japanese.

Hearts of Iron IV: Death or Dishonor
 –

One of my favourite dlcs

Indispensable if you like to play as a balcanic nation: the new focus trees are all very well made and enjoyable. The best one, in my opinion, is the Hungarian one, that gives you an easy path to reform the Austro-Hungarian Empire.

Crusader Kings II: Legacy of Rome
 –

Mandatory for byzantophiles

Cheap but very interesting dlc that improves the general gameplay for the Byzantine Empire.

Steel Division: Normandy 44
 –

Quite interesting

This kind of game is not my personal cup of tea, but I have to admit that it's a solid title that most lovers of WWII tactics will enjoy a lot. The attention to details (of vehicles and uniforms in particular) is amazing.

Steel Division: Normandy 44 - Back to Hell
 –

Good

A good dlc that adds new maps, new companies and new single player missions. Very indicated to those who love the single player campaign.

Hearts of Iron IV: Man the Guns
 –

One of the most important dlcs

This dlcs adds improvements to naval warfare (one of the hardest features to master) and new focus trees for the USA and the UK: these are some of the funniest focus trees of the entire game, so if you love HOI 4 you MUST buy this dlc.

Hearts of Iron IV: La Résistance
 –

One of my favourites

Some people say that this is a useless dlc, but I do not agree: this dlcs adds to the game a new espionage system that is quite easy to learn but hard to master, and that adds a lot of depth to the base game. I never play without this dlc activated.

Total War™: THREE KINGDOMS - Reign of Blood DLC
 –

Quite good

It adds some nice effects during battles and also on campaign map, but nothing more.

Stellaris

Build your personal galactic empire

I'm not exactly a great fan of science fiction, but I find this game very enjoyable. Space battles are exiting and pleasant to see, and the grand strategy bit is very good. It seems like a more complex (and deeper) version of "Star Wars: Empire at War", that is one of my favourite games.

Europa Universalis IV: Emperor
 –

Great improvement of various aspects of the game

This dlc offers a good overhaul of Holy Roman Empire, of Italian States (Kingdom of Naples, Papal State, ecc) and of Revolution. I've enjoyed it a lot.

Hearts of Iron IV
 –

Amazing strategy game

This is probably the best grand strategy game about WW2. You can play with any country and do anything you want. The base game is perfectly fine, but you can always buy some dlcs for a deeper gameplay. If you are a history buff, you really have to play it.

Crusader Kings II: Charlemagne
 –

A solid dlc

This dlc will give you a new ingame start date (750 a.D.), so you will have the chanche to play with a lot of new dinasties and monarchs (i.e. Charlemagne, his brother, Desiderius of the Lombards).

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
 –

Very fine shooter

This is a game I've enjoyed quite a lot. Even if the plot is quite silly, the gameplay is very funny, and some of the levels are simply incredible (i.e. the tribunal).

Hearts of Iron IV: Allied Speeches Pack
 –

A great experience

This is one of my favourite dlcs. Listening to the great speech of Churchill after the fall or France ("We shall fight on the beaches"), or to the famous "Day of Infamy" speech of Roosevelt after Pearl Harbor really gives you a deeper experience, specially if you are playing with the Allies.

Hearts of Iron IV: Waking the Tiger
 –

A lot of very good focus trees

With this dlc you will have the chance to enjoy new paths not only for China and Japan (i.e. Communist Japan), but also for Germany: destroying the Nazis and reinstating the Kaiser is an amazing experience.
