Bioshock: The Collection
 –

A classic

These games are classics in gaming culture. It is said they pose moral conundrums, but I do not buy it. The gameplay however is good, the package contains both the classic and remastered versions of the first two games, and the DLC for the final game (curiously, buying the bundle is oftne cheaper than buying BS:I and its season pass on most sales).

The gameplay isn't bad, although the lighting is a bit dark in places unless you mess with gamma. The aiming is also decent, which is always a plus.

Do keep in mind that this is a horror game, to some degree.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2
 –

Eh, here and there

This is not a single player game. This game does not appear to have dedicated servers, either. Gameplay is however fun if you can live without the former and deal with all that the latter entails (i.e. connection issues, NAT traversal, etc).

Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition
 –

In a bad state

This is the last GTA title before the series went online with GTA V.

The game isn't bad, IF you can get it to play. Which is no guarantee.

This game uses a lot of now-defunct DRM which requires a lot of fiddling to get around, and may indeed even be illegal under the EULA.

If you want to get a taste for the franchise, you can try GTAV, Do note that this will also have DRM, just not as broken. In this current state? I would not recommend this game.

Killing Floor 2 Digital Deluxe Edition
 –

Not bad for what it is

It's a shooter, if you want to put DOOM aside and take on some zombies, then there you have it.

Unlike the 2k16 DOOM though, you may have a harder time with this game if your vision / reaction time isn't great.

This is not applicable to 99% of gamers, but something I thought worth pointing out as it affects me.

A nice benefit of the deluxe edition of this game, at least from when I bought it, as that it includes the previous game (so something useful, unlike most deluxe editions these days)

XCOM 2 Collection
 –

An accessible game

Others have reviewed gameplay, so I would like to focus on things I don't usually see in reviews, but like to know about before buying.

This game supports windowed fullscreen, which means you can use Windows Magnifier (or other screen magnifier) over the top of it.

UI elements are distinguishable and more-or-less clear.

The voice acting in some of the cutscenes, as well as the storyline is...eh I am not a fan of it. It is no worse than any other recent game, but I feel it is a little overdone and cringy.

As a modern addition to the XCOM franchise, I think this game succeeds.
