Adds a Lot More to the USSR*****

This DLC is definitely worth it for the flavor and mechanics it adds to the USSR along with vital new features like the officer corps system.

Necessary*****

The colonization system, while not really historically accurate, is definitely a big improvement over the old system. Since it's a decent price there's no reason not to get it.

Cities: Skylines - Industries

Doesn't Hurt to Have*****

I'm generally not a huge fan of features in city simulation games that require so much active participation from the player rather than long term planning. Having something like this definitely doesn't hurt but I find I rarely use the features it provides because I find managing industries tedious.

Crusader Kings II: Holy Fury

Must Have*****

So many of my favorite features in CK2 are in this DLC. It just makes it so much more enjoyable to play. Definitely also get the music to go with it.

Europa Universalis IV: Pre-Order Pack

Get It on Sale*****

I don' care much for unit packs but if you are planning on a Byzantium run, Purple Phoenix is good to have. A lot of the events feel really dated and mostly just provide mana, but at the end of the day playing as Byzantium is hard enough, so the extra help is appreciated.

Europa Universalis IV: The Cossacks

Estates*****

This DLC originally introduced estates, which ended up being one of the best features of the game. There are lots of things included in it which, while small, are nice to have and improve the gameplay. Definitely worth it if you buy it on sale.
