Tiny Tina's Wonderlands (Epic)
 –

Better than bl3 by a mile

But still not on par with bl2 imo

world map is fun but can get a little tedious.
class system is really fun

ELDEN RING
 –

Interesting game

Its the usual souls like experience but a lack of ultrawide and other video options ruined it for me

Aliens: Fireteam Elite
 –

Much better than I thought

I wasn't sure about this game, been burned so much recently with third person shooters that I was going to wait for a 50% off sale, then I figured what the hell its a decent price on WinGameStore so I bit the bullet.
I dont think this game will be something I'll get 100's of hours of playtime like Destiny 2 or Division (1 or 2) but maybe around 50-60 and its money and time well spent on an enjoyable game

Middle-earth: Shadow of War Expansion Pass
 –

Might aswell get this on sale

Its not worth playing the base game without this now given how low the price gets during a sale

The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood Upgrade
 –

More of the same

Sometimes feels a bit like the yearly dlc isnt good for the game. The core of every DLC is now the same but with one fancy new feature. In this case its companions which should be in the base game really, but if they were there would be no reason to buy the dlc

BIOMUTANT
 –

Good game, nothing new though

Biomutant is quite a lot of fun, but once you get past character creation therte isnt much involved with the story line or side quests to really set it apart from most AAA open world games.

The crafting is fun

ELEX
 –

Decent but feels dated

The game feels a little older than it is with slightly clunky combat mechanics, and the jet pack feels a bit awkward to use compared to say No Man's Sky (which was released the year before)
If I had to guess its because of the in house engine that Pirahana bites uses which is possibly now a bit dated. Also the UI can be a bit of a slog to use at times

That said once you get past all that, theres a lot to explore and and plenty of classic RPG elements to enjoy. It isnt a game I would want to pay full price for now given the other AAA games you could get for the money, but its often on sale for a tenner and is well worth that.

Resident Evil Village
 –

The demo was ace

So assuming the full game is as good, should be a great game. Will update the review as I get more game-time
