Snowfall adds fun gameplay mode, but does not improve your existing cities

The snow mechanics adds a cool dimension to the game, but it seems a missed opportunity that the snow is not dynamic and instead you have to play on a perma-snow map.

Really in depth but learning curve is steep

I really enjoyed HOI4; however, the learning curve is very steep and you should expect 8-10 hours just learning the mechanics. Once you overcome this hump, then you are presented with endless gameplay where you can live out any WW2 fantasy you want.
