Stellaris: Ancient Relics Story Pack
 –

Stellaris adds yet more to the game

As is typical with Paradox games you get only the frame with the base game, then the flush out and put the remaining pieces together through DLC expansions and DLC content packs, thankfully here they didn't do that. As with all new things for Stellaris this DLC helps to add new features to a great game. As always look for it on sale and then add to your base game with this.

Stellaris
 –

Space Empire Deluxe evolved into Stellaris

I am sure we all remember the great Space Empires Deluxe IV, the king of the 4x strategy games in space. That game had everything you could think of and thensome. With Paradox's release they are trying to capture what was lost in updated versions of SED V. It tries to give a more updated feel in the management of your space empire. Stellaris doesn't feel like every menu option is running at a slower speed or ancient dos like responses. The base game gives you all you need to start playing this game and learning the basic rules. As with any Paradox game some features are missing or are not fully fleshed out.

The reason for the game lacking some features you might have got with SEIV Deluxe is because Paradox likes to supply you essentially the base game and then add new features as DLC or to help fill in features the base game doesn't really explore fully.

If you have like games like Master of Orion or Space Empires Deluxe (before Strategy First took over the license) you will love this game and the future it holds. While I dislike Paradox's method of completing their games, you can bet there will be more civilizations and of course rules that are expanded upon and added to the game over the next 2-4 years before Stellaris II will be announced. So I can't recommend the game without that warning, other than the numerous DLC content that will be coming, the game without new additions is a really great way to relive the past 4x games.

Crusader Kings II: The Reaper's Due Content Pack
 –

More of the same - Paradox DLC Hord

This helps to fill in most if not all of the "The Reapers Due" expansion. It takes the territories it is to cover and provides portraits and clothing. This like all of the content packs should have been sold as 1 item not 2. It like a paint job for your home, they paint only the walls they can reach and then say, if we have to do ladder work, that is extra. So I give this a low score on basis of value and Paradox's cash cow DLC is an insult to gamers who buy their product

Fallout 4: Game of the Year Edition
 –

GoTY says it all, the game and all DLC

The best part of the Game of the Year editions is that you get the game and all the DLC in one box at one price. I have so far enjoyed this edition of the Fallout series. This probably would tie for 2nd best in the series (the other would be Fallout 3). I always prefer to buy the GOTY to save all the pricing of the DLC or season pass. So is it good, yes it is. If you have been a fan of the series this will extend that fandom at least until the next release. If you haven't played fallout, this game gives you all you need to see that Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics are games you will want to go back and find to buy them.

DARK SOULS™ Remastered
 –

Pay up for a second time.

One of a wave of remastered/updated games from recent pass where they company can't give you a big discount that reduces it from $39.99 to 19.99. If you are a big fan of the series then you would love to see the new remastered edition. If you already have the game up to Prepare to Die, I would say wait. It will eventually start to come down in price. If $19.99 isn't an issue then you would also buy. However I encourage users not to pay to high price to update, lets send a message to game companies, if we have it, why should we have to pay more to get graphics, sounds, visual or other things upgraded but more or less the same story. It should be priced much lower for current owners. As I said you are either got to have it price doesn't matter or like me and don't like paying twice for the same game but one of those have remastered to their name.

XCOM 2 - Reinforcement Pack DLC
 –

Must Xcom 2 this

A solid dlc pack for Xcom 2. If you really want to enjoy the entire Xcom 2 experience it is best to collect all the DLC/Exp. packs. Then look for another add on that is free, "The Long War 2" cost nothing but adds upon the DLC. Trust me when I say you need every advantage due to a much tougher enemy and much lower support for "buying" new gear and earning help from surrounding areas.
