The Walking Dead: Michonne serves as a nice little diversion to the mainline series. It pretty much hits on all the beats one would expect from a Walking Dead Telltale game these days. Perhaps it'd be a suitable way to introduce a comic/tv show fan to the Telltale games. As with many others, I do prefer the actual mainline Telltale series focusing on Clementine.

I'll be honest, I purchased this purely because I wanted to go into the Final Season having played all the mainline titles. Having heard poor reviews for the game previously, I found A New Frontier to be a fun enjoyable narrative. Even surprised me in a few places. Sure, the choices are perhaps less consequential now, as we gamers have evolved to perceive in Telltale games. But the world is still fun, and Clementine as character is reason enough to get this and see her complete journey.
