Resident Evil Village
 –

Second only to 4

Easily the best Resident Evil game I've played since 4, and I've played all of them. A little bit on the short side, but worth every minute.

Chivalry 2 (Epic)
 –

A nice improvement

A good step up from the first game. Definitely worth it if you liked the first, but cross-play parties (a major selling point) have yet to be enabled. Got it to play with PS4 friends as cross-play was advertised, which is dissapointing.

Total War™: WARHAMMER® II - The Silence & The Fury
 –

Final send off

An excellent final DLC for Total War 2. Beastmen are OP for now, but finally fun.

Classic Game with intriguing setting

This is a classic game with an intriguing setting. It's basically an on the rails shooter (you aim with the left stick, but you get used to it). The story is quite wacky. No issues running it.

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind Game of the Year Edition
 –

Dated, but great.

Oblivion is my favourite elder scrolls game, but I would consider this a close second. The quests and stories are superior, but it plays drastically differently and is quite dated. You could potentially mod the game to fix this, however, I have not tried. Oblivion > Morrowind >> Skyrim, in my opinion.

DOOM Eternal Deluxe Edition (Bethesda)
 –

Excellent game, but avoid bethesda key.

Far superior to Doom 2016. I play on the hardest difficulty, which is very punishing (especially early on) until you get into the flow of the gameplay, but once you do, it's exhilarating and definitely worth even full price. However, make sure to back up your saves and try to get a steam key. My save was corrupted and I was unable to recover it with the help of Bethesda (I figured it out on my own eventually but their response was basically to just start all over because of their odd insistence on encrypted saves and their decision to delete not only corrupted saves, but all saves including autosaves and the profile save when an issue arises). The Bethesda launcher is, at the time of writing, the worst launcher bar the Microsoft store (Microsoft store couldn't be worse even if they tried, look up issues with uninstalling games after downloads cutting out for examples). Bethesda launcher just doesn't work some days or just doesn't launch the game at all. Support are as helpful as they can be, but there's only so much they can do.

While I wish I never purchased the Bethesda version specifically, this is one of my favourite games in years, and I couldn't recommend it more besides these issues.

DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT - Deluxe Edition
 –

Best Dragonball Game in years

This, alongside FighterZ, is one of the best dragon ball games in years. It goes through the entire story of z, minus the filler, and is a great nostalgia trip. The collectible orbs are pointless, and it's quite easy even without leveling up, but I would take this over xenoverse 1 or 2 any day in terms of the gameplay. Also, Frieza's voice actor did a great job.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim VR

Excellent

Far better than the non-VR version. Especially with mods.

Dungeons 3

Satisfies Dungeon Keeper itch

It's not Dungeon Keeper, but it's the best clone yet

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
 –

Great shooter.

Not as good as Doom, and arguably not as good as the first game, but definitely worth playing nontheless

Far Cry® Primal - Digital Apex Edition
 –

Decent

Great graphics. Survival mode offers a unique perspective. However, it, it gets repetitive fast.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition Deluxe
 –

Better than Skyrim

It's age shows, but it's far better than Skyrim despite that.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood

Excellent

Excellent FPS, though the beginning is a bit slow.

Total War™: WARHAMMER® II
 –

A clear improvement

A clear improvement to the prior Total War: Warhammer. Can easily sink a great many hours into this game. Definitely recommend.

Total War™: WARHAMMER® - Blood for the Blood God
 –

Great, but should be free.

This adds extra gore to the main game. However, it should not be a paid DLC, but rather an option in the settings menu. Despite this, purchasing this for either Warhammer 1 or Warhammer 2 will unlock it for both games.

Dishonored 2
 –

A great improvement

While I enjoyed the original, I did not believe it to be the masterpiece many had claimed. This was partially due to the fact that I found non-lethal playthroughs rather boring. However, both the lethal and non-lethal styles have been improved in this game, with more animations and ways to approach different situations. There is also the option to quick save and quick load at the press of a button, which means that one running a non-lethal playthrough is free to quick save, switch to a lethal play-style, and then quick load without compromising their playthrough. There are also two characters to choose from with different abilities, and a new game plus mode which allows one to mix and match the abilities of both characters has been added as part of a free update. An enjoyable experience regardless of the style you choose.

Dishonored Definitive Edition
 –

Quite Good

Definitely worth playing. High chaos playthroughs feel more fleshed out and entertaining, gameplay-wise, as they allow for the use of more weapons in creative ways. My first playthrough was low chaos (non-lethal), and I gave up out of boredom towards the end and started a high-chaos playthrough instead, which I enjoyed enough to play it to completion.

BioShock Infinite - Season Pass
 –

Excellent

Thoroughly enjoyed the DLC. A great end to the trilogy.

Mafia III
 –

Better than expected

A very repetitive game, but I enjoyed the gameplay enough for it not to feel boring as a result. Game runs very poorly under certain in-game weather conditions, however, and I found it unplayable when this occurred, as the framerate dropped below 10fps (GTX 970, high settings). This did not occur often, however, and the game ran smoothly otherwise. The soundtrack is phenomenal.

The Evil Within 2
 –

A Great Improvement

I was weary of this game when I learned it was semi-open world. To my surprise, I found this was implemented exceptionally well. Definitely recommend.
